I watched the jacuzzi wedding with the bride in a bikini and just cringed.

Why did she go through with it?

That was terrible. One of the worst !

It's the first one I've seen since it was on BBC3!

I missed the first 25mins, did he basically spend the whole budget on hot tubs? So cringe, there didn't really seem to be much spent on anything else - the decoration was severely lacking?! And despite him saying otherwise it did look like cheap bbq burgers during the closing credits

Wish they'd go back to the old format where there were some decent ones, or decent elements at least

How bizarre. I'm surprised they went through with it, it looked genuinely pathetic. I know they have contracts and the production team probably steered him a particular (awful) way. Perhaps they felt they couldn't back out of it - or it wasn't the real ceremony?

Missing the first part I presumed all the money had been spent on a stag do. Didn't he say the hot tubs had cost £5.5k - that shoud've left £8.5k. The venue didn't look expensive (rugby club?) and they didn't have high spends on outfits, flowers, cars etc! Did it all go on a generator to heat a small portion of the hot tubs

I'm far too invested

I felt this week's was incredibly staged. Who in the right mind would just take getting given a white bikini in stead of a wedding dress. She never batted an eyelid.

I found him really unlikable

I thought he was a knob but she just seemed oblivious and totally did not mind getting married in a bikini wtf

It wasn't even "so bad it's good"

I expected the post-hot tub section to be really good to make up for it - nope!

I can only assume that she’s planned the legal ceremony and accompanying reception for later on, and didn’t care what he did since it was essentially a free extra party?

No one would be that calm and happy if that was their actual wedding.

Again, what did he spend £13k on?! A stag do in Benidorm? And some inflatables in the venue?

The pixie thing wasn't as bad as I thought (even the mobility scooters!) but the venue looked so bare
I bet the producers had a hand in that and made him spend ££ on coverings and curtains. Surely it smelled strongly of livestock?

I liked the old ones where they generally chose a fabulous venue and worked the silly ideas around that. At least if the dress/stag/hen/transport/wedding colours were a mistake they had a classy place to celebrate!

I hate when they moan about the dress. I'm glad they had no money to replace hers third week. They know what they're signing up for when they go on the show.

It's definitely lost something with moving to C4. The adverts take up so much time.

I agree the earlier series were far better

I just want to see a bride say no! And walk away.

I used to love this series but it's all got so ridiculous now. There is no way the brides aren't in on it either, they are all far too accepting, bikini instead of a wedding dress, mobility scooter instead of a car, no way.
The earlier ones felt more real. One of my favourites being the getting married in Las Vegas episode where the bride came really close to backing out.
