Anybody watching? I binged season 3 in preparation and now I'm having to dial back to once a week for Season 4.

Still loving it though. Watching on Netflix btw.

Mike and Kim are the best - both such good, real people - who get caught up in things. (Okay - Mike jumps into things for the sake of his DGD, but you know what I mean).

I don't think Mike is supposed to be a "good" guy. Wasn't he a corrupt cop? Did this lead, in some way, to his son's death? I vaguely remember this from season 1 (or I could be making it up!)

I’m trying to think if Mike was corrupt. I think he was, but explained that the whole precinct was- so all in it together. That was the problem with his son Matty. He was honest so his corrupt partner felt he couldn’t be trusted. Mike told Matty to take the money, to prove he was one of the guys but ultimately he was too honest and his partner didnt trust him. Cops fear prison more than anything, so there was a shootout in a crack house where it looked like a druggy shot Matty. Mike knew it was a set up so took his revenge on the 2 cops who orchestrated it.

I agree Kim is a great character. She clearly loves Jimmy so much. The way she spoke to Howard, when dealing with Chucks will was so passionate. I’m dreading finding out how she gets written out. I think it’s going to be tragic.

I think if it’s a UK pace thread we can talk about the episode as soon as it’s out. If you haven’t seen it yet that week, then it’s probably sensible to avoid the thread.

I have a pollos hermanos air freshener in my car that’s the same one Gus has! A few people have commented on it and tried to work out what it’s from. I’d love one of Saul’s dodgy college sweatshirts.

That's what I'm worried about, too.

I agree Mike maybe was a "bad cop", (I can't remember) but everything he does is for his son's family. I really, really like him.

Just watched it. Gail is in it! I love Gail - I was on the point of tears when he was killed in BB.

I think it was a good idea to have him bearded to disguise the fact that the actor playing him is older, even thought his is set umpteen years in the past!

Wow, the actor who played Gail looked a lot younger. I think he lost some weight as well as looking a lot better groomed. There definitely seemed something going on between him and Gus. Those were some flirty smiles.

There is a scene in Breaking Bad where Saul talks about his marital status. Won’t mention it here in case it’s spoilers, but it might be a hint at what happens with Kim.

Haha, I think you only need to watch the original episode where Saul is introduced which is called Better Call Saul. Of course, he is putting on a character at that point, so he could well be lying to Walt.

But don’t let me stop you having a rewatch. I’m always debating whether it’s too soon to do one!

I love it but confused about the time difference between this and breaking bad - kayleigh ( mikes grandaughter) seems the same age in both series ? Where as i was under the impression this is set some time before the events of breaking bad.
