Anything like Stranger Things?

Late to the party, but this summer we have really enjoyed watching this series with 12 year old DS. I think it works on lots of different levels and it's nice to watch something for an hour or so rather than a film.

So is there anything else out there similar, or am I doomed to watch Lord of the Rings and Star Wars every family evening for the rest of the holidays?

Zoo on Netflix is very good.

Have you watched the OA? I really enjoyed that

Legion.

Dark is excellent if you don't mind subtitles. Oh and The Rain.. Again subtitles required.

I was just coming on to recommend Dark!

Third Dark - lots of similar themes although ultimately a bit, well, darker than ST!

Thanks for the suggestions. Would Dark be ok for a 12 year old?

Lost in space on Netflix. It's been a few months since I've watched it so may be worth a check if it's suitable for your 12 year old. I think it'd be fine for that age though.

I liked the look of Dark but I can't concentrate when it's subtitles and have noticed a lot of stuff I like the look of on Netflix is foreign language.

OA is amazing.

Dark! But make sure you watch with subtitles not dubbed. One of the best series I've watched.
