I’m going to watch it again and whizz through the jack . Mel bits!

iknowimcoming · 04/09/2018 21:57

Nah Linda did it - hence the 'I won't let anyone hurt my boys' comment. I shall add the canal and Alley-down-the-side-of-the-vic to the cluedenders murder location cards. I don't often wish death upon people but - dear god, please let Stuart die! Not quite sure how Linda thinks she's going to sneak back into the vic, from the car, in her pj's, when it's surrounded by admittedly the most inept police Confused

The80sweregreat · 04/09/2018 22:00

She’ll hide out at the allotment till the police go away

The80sweregreat · 04/09/2018 22:23

I was surprised to see lady di too!
Not seen since she swallowed that ring of Halfwits!

IfIWasABirdIdFlyIn2ACeilingFan · 04/09/2018 23:30

Ive just caught up.

Why did they have that stupid Mel and jack storyline in the middle of it all? It was so mismatched. Obviously it was a plot device to allow for the dramatic moment ruining entrance of Mel’s ex but they could have had it in a different episode. This epsiode should have been just about the shooting. And lovely Keanu. Grin

Choccywoccyhooha · 05/09/2018 02:04

Well I went to France for a week and caught up tonight to discover that Stenders has gone all dark.

I'm going to say that Dylan did it. Stuart blackmailed hom into finding a way to stay at the Vic, let Stuart in, and then shoot him to set Mick up. He rang the bell beforehand so that they would all get downstairs in time to call an ambulance to save him, meaning that Mick would get sent down for attempted murder, to pay back for the time Stuart spent in prison for him. Linda thinks Mick did it and is disposing of the gun.

But why didn't they turn the blimmin lights on?
Why did Stuart give Denny knuckle dusters?
Who else Google "Milwall brick"?
Why didn't Keanu say "oh, hi Linda, what are you doing down here?" Instead of loitering in the shadows.

And what dirt does Letitia Dean have over the producers that made them agree to give her a storyline where she gets to have a bit if Keanu? Donna got Robbie, but Stenders royalty Letitia gets Keanu! Hhhmm.

arriettyspiders · 05/09/2018 02:14

Goodness. I've just caught up with a couple of weeks of EE episodes (not all at once, obviously).

The80sweregreat · 05/09/2018 06:01

I guess Leitisha dean ( Shazza) knows where the bodies are ( in the EE canel)
She is lucky.
Mind you , even Keanu isn’t as gorgeous as the man in the Bodyguard drama, have him on EE and I’d be a very happy woman!
As for Mel / just don’t go near Jack / sacs yourself.

The80sweregreat · 05/09/2018 06:02

Save rather. It’s early.

LeroyJenkins · 05/09/2018 06:34

For me, part of the Stu problem, is that o don't really care enough about Tina and the rest of them

Except Shirl

The80sweregreat · 05/09/2018 06:42

the carters have gone from crisis to crisis without much let up.
its all a bit much really - other characters are being underused ( Karen, Jay etc)

SoupDragon · 05/09/2018 06:58

Who else Google "Milwall brick"?

I already knew! Not from a misspent youth I hasten to add.

squirrelonapetridish · 05/09/2018 08:29

Keanu always seems to get himself involved in other people's business doesn't he? He'll probably somehow manage to get himself into trouble just by spying in bushes.

Akire · 05/09/2018 08:31

I too wondered why nobody put the lights on, you know when someone is walking around in the dark shooting. I was slow on uptake about Lady Di thought she had been shot not that she was supposed to be out for a walk. It’s bits to much like Lucy whodunnit.

Better places to put the gun...
Take up to roof and throw off
Put in safe
Run across square and put in recycling bin
In Ollies bed
The allotments (seem to be 3m walk off the square)

Can’t think of least romantic place than cold dark smelly canal!! I’d insist on bringing blow up bed and time he pumped it up I’d be asleep lol

Does anyone care about Mels ex? Is this the Ray that son kept ringing?

The80sweregreat · 05/09/2018 09:10

yes, seems Mel was married before - is he anything to do with that Ciara
Irish woman that was involved with the heist?
i think theres a love triangle looming there, not that i really care as he looks trouble.
Mel always had a complicated love life.
i suppose L had a panic attack and thought canal for the gun - not sure why you would but they have to write Keanu in on him seeing her i suppose and that was the only way for him to be involved. plus guns and canals seem to go together in EE.

mrswhiplington · 05/09/2018 09:46

I wondered why there was a howling wind blowing round the Vic as well. If it was supposed to add to the atmosphere it didn't work. The only bit I really enjoyed was Mick putting his hand over Stu's mouth. Wish he had left it there.

I don't blame Tina for not calling the ambulance when she said she would either. This all makes me sound really heartless.Grin

IfIWasABirdIdFlyIn2ACeilingFan · 05/09/2018 10:08

I don’t now why Whitney was so angry with Tina for not calling the ambulance. Surely she gets it? She knows what Tina went through at Stu’s hands. He has been torturing her and the carters. Also, Whitney was an abuse victim too, surely she can see why Tina wouldn’t want to help her abuser.

Is anyone else just not in the slightest bit interested in Jack and Mel? Or hunter. There’s nothing about any of them that keeps me interested. I wish I hadn’t got rid of sky+ so I could zoom past their scenes Grin

The80sweregreat · 05/09/2018 10:40

Munter, Mel and Jack none of them are worth much to be honest, she runs a club sharon is meant to own but has little to do with and he seems to be loaded without doing any work and munter is just awful.
I dont mind Mel, but i think this will be a rehash of Ronnie and Jack with the ex thrown in and it will all be boring and go round and round in circles. Munter clearly wants his mum back with him.
i will zone out i think.

creamcheeseandlox · 05/09/2018 10:56

Hunter heard the gun shot from across the square yet the Carter's are skulking about the vic thinking they heard a bang...and Witney calmly walks into the pub and Shirley is creeping about with a bat?! Wouldn't there be absolute panic stations!!!

The80sweregreat · 05/09/2018 11:43

i've watched it back today ( missing out jack etc) and Whitney was acting very oddly - the door closes right at the start so you assume that the person who shot him has run off, then you see Whitney appear from the side door. she deleted some messages on halfway's phone as well and didnt seem that spooked by any of it.
i agree that L thinks Mick did it thats why she run off to the canal with the gun.
Dylan is a worry though as he already retracted his statement.

its hard to make out much as most of it was filmed in the dark, only halfway put a light on when he saw blood - stuart was also in the kitchen bit so he walked in there after being at the bar with the gun - he obviously knows who shot him. Unless he shot himself.

linda had the gun in her hand at the start, so i guess we're meant to think it was her. i am confused by it all though!

SoupDragon · 05/09/2018 11:49

Whitney was horrified that Tina hadn’t called an ambulance though. If she’d done it she’d want it delayed so Stuart might die.

IfIWasABirdIdFlyIn2ACeilingFan · 05/09/2018 11:51

I didn’t think Linda had the gun in her hand. I thought it was her phone. It looked pink or red.

SoupDragon · 05/09/2018 12:08

I think the gun that Linda dropped in the canal is the one Stuart brought with him and is not the gun that was used to shoot him. I think Dylan had that. I don’t see how Stuart was shot anywhere other than in the kitchen and I don’t think someone would have shot him there and then left the gun on the bar (or in that area).

Blondeshavemorefun · 05/09/2018 12:49

Omg

Havnt read replies but just seen Monday’s.

I’m thinking stu is dead or injured. Ideally dead as he is boring and think it was Linda or mummy - had mind blank on her name 😂😂 in the bar with a gun 😂😂😂

Now for tue. Back in 30mins and will read replies after seen or

The80sweregreat · 05/09/2018 12:54

it looked to me as if Linda had the gun in her hand wrapped in a tea towel at first. hard to see in the dark though.
