I wonder how much they make from the tour, I bet it’s not much at the love island people are the ones who pocket most the cash like with a lot of the early days for reality tv stars. I know when people audition for things like BGT they are then expected to give a % of their earnings due to exposure, does that tend to apply to things like big brother and love island? Would they take a fee along with the agents for all the promo stuff the islanders get paid for?

No idea but top four couples set to make at least 1.5m, Alex2 about a million but it will depend on how much effort they put into it-which I suspect Dr Alex won't as he has said he is going back to work (though P/T at the start)

Some one said earlier up the thread about kaz moving joshs hand. I think she was stopping him from getting up after the interview with Caroline I think he thought they had to go off stage and she smiled awkward and sort of touch him as he was about to get up.

@Welliejellie that was me. It wasn't when she sat him back down after their interview.
It was when Megan and kaz were sat on the tall chairs with Wes and josh stood behind them. The camera went to them and she was moving his hand.
I'm going to have to watch it again aren't I?!

Its really quite sad that Megan is likely to make the most amount of money. Is that what young people really aspire to. She is a plastic Barbie who went through a number of men during her time in the villa. Her dress during the end of the show was verging on pornographic but I guess if that is what she wants to do.....

Suspect we will see her being interviewed complaining about not being taken seriously and looks aren't everything etc. I also think she is massively insecure and will be a nightmare to date. She has almost made her self a Jessica Rabbit type person. She comes across as childish and will probably end up having blown her money and moaning about her only being chased for her looks.

Her looks are manufactured anyway. She’s so fake and unappealing.

Do men find her attractive though? My DH thinks she isn’t while I think she is very pretty. DH said Laura has the nicest face and voice out of all the girls in there. I like Laura’s personality and think without her hair extensions she would be really pretty.

But I thought Meghan was beautiful looking. Shallow to focus on looks but their future media careers will be more or less based on it.....

Just wanted to answer this from the other thread but according to savannah (if anyone actually remembers her!) her and wes shared a bed during casa amor but it wasnt mentioned/shown for some reason. So maybe thats why megan recoupled, she wouldnt have looked so bad at the time if the producers hadnt have edited that bit out! But im guessing that was the aim.

I just realised they didn't do the girl code/boy code challenge this year- like last year when Camilla had to get Marcel to say Blazin Squad five times, or the year before when Adam had to hug Liana for ages. They were really fun episodes.

Angelo I've been watching series 3 recently, was never into LI before, and that undercover challenge was hilarious. Camilla was a genius with the Blazin squad thing. I loved that season, it was also interesting to watch, already knowing who had split up straight afterwards too ( the DDs watched it obsessively)

Was curious who smoked, seems most did.

Well I gave up watching about a week ago, but I saw Aftersun from Saturday.

Alexandra seemed to still really like Alex for reasons that are not clear.
HMs keep saying he’s really funny but I saw no sign of it.

Jack and Laura seemed surprisingly into each other.

I guess all the media reports are predicable.

Many of them smoke, so assume lots of interesting chats were cut out to avoid showing smoking on tv.
Alex wants to be a tv doctor, even though he's got fuck all experience, unlike the older tv doctors whose footsteps he wishes to follow in.
Laura left the villa during times of stress, sat talking in the diary room smoking all night. But was portrayed as bouncing back quickly.
And I can't even remember what else it's so mundane.

Seems they have cut out all the good stuff. This could have been a very different show.

Well Megan's dress was revealing I'm not sure I'd call it porrnographic and ive seen much worse on many a celeb, from a list down.

I'm also not sure I'd say she was going through the men, no more than Laura did, or Adam did, wes did , and many previous conetestants had.

And if she makes a lot of money good for her. Plenty of women make their money based on their looks as do plenty of men. As long as she's strong enough to cope emotionally and has a strong support network, then good for her, she was badly bullied as a kid for her looks and hopefully she can come out of this stronger,

I think we all want to support the kid who was bullied, right?

Apparently Megan has said she is giving up glamour modelling now she has met Wes.

I'm sure she will have plenty of modelling opportunities that are not glamour, well hopefully. I didn't get thr impression on the show she enjoyed what she did.

The strange thing is how they have all lost their “gloss” now that they are back in the real world. 😂 Must be because they are wearing proper clothes - well sort of - instead of swimwear or tacky evening stuff.
I imagine the “flattering” lighting helped a bit too. Fascinating.

I think the ‘dumping’ of Laura both by Wes and Jack was staged, basis what’s been said in the last couple of days. When I think back now, she took it very very well consideringI think I would’ve stayed in bed, with the duvet over my head, for the rest of my time in the villa.

I’m not saying it didn’t happen, but you don’t just go up to someone and say “I’m
Gonna crack on elsewhere” and do it there n then. So I think there was a lot of manipulation by the producers there.

I hope Laura finds love, I hope Megan and Wes work out. I think Megan has learned a lot about herself (and others) while in there.

Jani will go from strength to strength, and the others I’m not really fussed about (I bet they’re really bothered about that) but I miss them all, it’s not just them that’s gone back to reality
