I think Megan lacks a lot of confidence and I thought it was very touching that wes mentioned how far she has come in that respect. He is genuinely in love.
She is gorgeous and many women would feel threatened by her based on looks, hence the fact she's never made any female friends (her brother mentioned that). To have all that surgery done, she was very insecure, to still be so shy and awkward despite looking a bombshell; she doesn't see in herself what we see.
