Yeah Paul hasn't really done much, I don't get the impression he has any genuine feelings for Laura.

Laura has had her desperate moments, when I've cringed at the TV. But when she was asking the lie detector questions to Jack 2 and chipping in with her little comments, I saw myself in her. I would definitely be that petty if I was her (actually I'd be much worse )
