Qusetion....do the apprentices not get to watch the Tv shows? do they know what is being said about them in the press?
How could they stop them finding out?

and if so why does she continue like this?

and what do they do between shows?

Actually, I am not convinced about Katie's selling skills. Remember the episode where they had to sell art - she got her strategy completely wrong and interestingly, it was Adam the Hated Northener who managed to do most of the sales on her team. She sold nothing but gushed a lot.

Similarly, when they went over to France. If she was such a great business woman, why did she not tell her puppy that selling industrial grade cheese to the French was idiotic. Also, why did she and him try to sell sausages to Muslims who were also celebrating Ramadam?

I think she is like a lot of business people. Beneath the veneer of gloss and hype, there is very little tangible talent and they are only where they are because of the schools they attended, the contacts they made, the way they flirt around and the fact that they are good at surrounding themselves with the people who actually get things done and then they step in to take credit and bask in the glory. All imho of course.

So she is watching it all unfold with the rest of us and seeing the reaction in the press? The 'affair' photo shoot makes a bit more sense then, a decision to go with her 'nasty Katie' persona to increase her noteriety and thereby widen her 'brand'.

I wonder who her target audience for these pics are?? Maybe she thought was it will get 30 something women, called Claire/Sarah who are at home with kids in half term, still in their dressing gowns at 10.15am, discussing me in Outraged tones.

I cannot understand why someone would seperate themselves for so long from children so young.

Not intending to start a SAHM/WOHM debate (God Forbi), but she can never have been there.

Also I don't know any women who don't talk about their children, even the very career minded working full time ones.

Yes and the task in France were she was Captain Mainwaring's second in command she didn't cover herself in glory. She has been lucky not to be in the boardroom a couple times when she should have been.
She is good TV though.

Not sure when they start the filming, but remember in the last series when they had to sell fruit and veg in the market. That was filmed in September, I know because I saw them! I can't remember when it was shown on TV but I am sure it was months later.

My dad said he read somewhere that SirAlan offers the job to someone but they turn it down because of family reasons.

Kristina, Tre and Katie have children, but I cant see them turning the job down.

To be fair though (never seen the apprentice though) I very rarely talk about my daughter at work unless somebody asks me about her. It doesn't make me less of a mother.

Also you can work long hours easier when they are younger.. you take your laptop home, put LO to bed at their bedtime (7 in my dds case) then work until whatever time in the night.

She probably earns enough to have a good nanny that does the daytime routine which'll make it easier for her in the mornings I would imagine.

She may well be a bitch but I think it's a little harsh judging her on her parenting skills when you've only seen a highly edited tv programme.
