Yes-throughout Alex, Jack1 and the producers have been pushing the awkward, uncomfortable Alex thing. It's his USP. He is awkward but I think they play it up because it's good TV.

He doesn't exactly ping my gaydar but I haven't got the vibe that he fancies any of the women, like he's not even attracted to them! And I don't think there's any straight male who wouldn't even be attracted to the women there. All the women like him but none of them fancy him which to me suggests gay, the only woman he may have actually fancied is Laura (1 or 2) but I am dubious. Like if I went into love island I would initially find some of the men attractive but would go off them with time, but I reckon I could easily fake it if necessary

Jack2 actually came of quite well in his responses to the questions, the questions were unpleasant and he seemed honest.

I'm disgusted that people think Alex is gay because he didn't want to have sex on tv. It's hardly surprising considering his profession and future plans (tv dr). I am sure that not all 'red blooded males' would sleep with Alexandra on tv. As well as the fact they've only known each other 2 weeks. I think he was genuine. He likes her but doesn't want sex on tv/so soon in a relationship.
