She's so fab and smiley, I would love to meet her. They just all seem so naice. I also want her parents' swish Norfolk pad.

I know people who have worked with her and she's as lovely as she comes across.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 09/07/2018 21:10

She’s coming across very well. Phew. Really wanted to like her 😀

DuggeesWoggle · 09/07/2018 21:34

Mind you I do struggle to give a shit about other people's family trees, famous or not...

I was just thinking the same. Was watching and thinking how I want her to be my best friend. Love her giggling!

DorothyGarrod · 09/07/2018 21:42

I know someone who knows her and apparently she is LOVELY which is the only thing that is keeping me going in Brexit.

NicoAndTheNiners · 09/07/2018 21:45

She’s just so nice and excited about everything. When she went over that bridge in Norfolk! 😂

WipsGlitter · 09/07/2018 22:18

I love this programme it's FASCINATING. There is so much information about us all "out there" if only we knew how to find it.

TheBadgersMadeMeDoIt · 09/07/2018 23:10

Oh she's just adorable, isn't she? Closest I've ever come to a girl crush was the scene when she got drunk in "Rev".
Also if you can get hold of it have a listen to her on "Women Talking About Cars" (Radio 4, with Victoria Coren Mitchell). Warm and lively and hilarious.

Yoksha · 10/07/2018 08:46

I'm adding my tuppence worth. I agree with every PP. She was a treat to watch.

Lottapianos · 10/07/2018 08:48

I have no interest in this program so gave it a miss but I LOVE Olivia! So great to hear that she seemed lovely

PolkerrisBeach · 10/07/2018 08:51

Love her too. I am a huge Who Do You Think You Are fan anyway, and this was a good one - she clearly loved being in India and finding out about her distant ancestors.

I think she'll be great in The Crown too, especially with Helena Bonham Carter as Margaret.

LadyRochfordsHoickedGusset · 10/07/2018 14:13

What an interesting episode especially how fab was the Austen -like letter.

MinesaPinot · 10/07/2018 20:29

I love this programme and thought Olivia Coleman was great last night. What a fascinating story, and I loved the very 'Jane Austen'-like letter about the wife and the harpist lover - ooh er! Looks as though there are some interesting 'subjects' in this series so am looking forward to future episodes.

PineappleLava · 10/07/2018 20:31

Bloody love her and love WDYTYA. Fab episode!

SeekingClosure · 15/07/2018 12:39

Wasn't she lovely? I liked how she says she never goes anywhere and likes being at home in her pyjamas. A woman after my own heart!

Rogersnextdoublespartner · 15/07/2018 19:31

On the strength of this thread I've just watched it, she's really lovely. Great episode.

MadisonAvenue · 16/07/2018 15:06

She is really lovely!

diddl · 18/07/2018 09:03

It was an interesting one, wasn't it?

Would loved to have known who India Harriet's mum was & how/where IH lived in England.

raisedbyguineapigs · 18/07/2018 09:10

Sometimes on wdytya interesting people have boring families and people you aren't interested in have interesting families. OC had both. I love the social history bit of wdytya. My family are Indian/Anglo descent so I'm always interested in the history of India. I liked Lee Mack too.

DarlingNikita · 18/07/2018 12:45

Closest I've ever come to a girl crush was the scene when she got drunk in "Rev"
Christ that was funny. And the follow-up scene the next morning when she has to go with him to play a football match for charity or something. At one point she's in the background, not the focus of the scene, and makes the most half-arsed attempt at sticking her foot near the ball while glowering at him. It's a fabulous bit of acting.

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 18/07/2018 14:28

Great episode with Olivia. What an interesting story.
Lee Mack came over nicely.

WipsGlitter · 18/07/2018 15:11

I had to turn Lee Mack off as he seemed to feel he had to make a joke about everything.

MrStarkIDontFeelSoGood · 19/07/2018 22:57

I've just watched Olivia's and I'm CONVINCED she's a Mner

She described herself as "invested"
