TheOnly my prediction at the beginning of the tournament, was that he would at least equal last year. Which given all he has done since March, and with no pre-Wimbledon matches, would be a good result.

(But of course, I really want more than that, especially now Djok may be in the mix).

derxa I like Sue, but her continuity job seems to be designed to make viewing as disjointed as possible .

Well that's the end of Wimbledon this year for me.
I knew Federer was vulnerable to a big server and so it proved. So much for the easy draw.
Of those who are left the most attractive game is Djokovic so that's who I'd prefer to win but I probably won't watch.

Well today’s matches aren’t going the way I’d have expected at all.

Well, it's a small consolation, that I also love Delpo.

But the night is still young.

There are some amazing shots from both- I really want Rafa to pull through, but I do like Delpo- HIs semi final against Djok in 2013 was one of my favourite matches-(longest semi final in Wimbledon history, iirc, at the time) if it has to come to a repeat of that, then he could exact his revenge.

This was never going to be as plain sailing as their meeting at RG- clay isn't Juan's surface, after all, and he's great on grass, Rafa's least confident surface.
