I've come in partway through del Potro-Paire and want del Potro to win so I don't know the story behind all the drama the commentators are talking about. Is that to do with the enormous bandages on Paire's leg?

5000 Paire has had knee surgeries, I think, I don't think he is injured as such at the moment. It's more for support. Might be wrong.

I think Paire has had issues with a number of line calls, and has been getting a bit stroppy. He's been chewing the ear of the umpire. The commentary team think his own team should just walk off and leave him to get on with it. Delpo was getting fed up with himself too.

The heat is getting to people, and I think, someone in the crowd.

Paire was cross that Carlos (Bernardes not Ramos) didn't overrule some dodgy line calls. Paire challenged them and they were indeed dodgy so he won the points. DelPotro as far as I can tell is just getting grumpy at Paire's antics. Paire was asking if the umpire can be changed or fined!

Hi all - somehow a "quick trip" to the library and for barbecue stuff turned into a two hour expedition so I haven't seen any tennis today. Unacceptable!!

I'm Stefan's no.1 fan and also a big fan of McEnroe (playing style not on court behaviour). And obviously Federer and also Timmy. I like the artists of the game. The same with any sport really. Artistry and tactics over brawn.

I'm being pulled in all directions today. I was switching between Rafa & Delpo & there's football coming up, then I've got stage one of the Tour de France recorded... So I think I'll be glued to the telly all day
