Such an overreaction from Dani, yawn. She def realizes there needs to be a bit of drama to win at the end. She should've waited for an actual issue though and not make a big deal out of nothing, now it just seems like she's acting.

I don't understand how Wes would choose to come back alone. Surely he knows Laura will pick anyone over him. Unless the producers have changed the rules and there's an option to pick anyone. Well we'll see tonight.

I think Georgia has been a bit naive all this time, I felt like Josh never really gave any vibes he was THAT into her. Josh is a huge player for pretending he was.

I feel really bad for Samira! Doesn't she realize Frankie only went there cos he couldn't get Megan. She needs some self-respect honestly.

Last year the only options were either stay in your couple or recouple with a newbie. That's it. If you chose to stay in your couple and the other person in the couple did the same they were both same. If the othet person picked a newbie and you didn't you were out.

So I wonder if this year there was a third option which was you could pick anyone and Wes decided to pick Megan and that wat got booted.

Yes last year Amber picked someone else because she didn't want to go home. Kem had misjudged the situation and thought she'd be talking to loads of other guys.

I think josh is a huge player....it was reported that 2 girls came forward saying they were his girlfriend, he dumped them (both!) to enter the villa. If he is such a player then a nice, loyal girl like Georgia didn't stand a chance with him!

I've just been thinking about last year- the newbies that got coupled up were chyna, another girl I can't remember her name who came back with Jonny , a bloke amber coupled with after seeing the postcard, professor green guy and Alex - other than Alex the others left really soon after the villas merged- I can't remember how or why???? Just thinking if the villas coming back together means about 20 islanders will they do a similar thing to cull numbers (though I can't remember what they did!)

Last year there were only 7 couples after casa amour, Don got dumped, so they stayed for a night or two. Then they had a public vote for favourite boy and girl. Two with the lowest were Nathan and Chyna who got dumped immediately. Then top boy and top girl had to vote another off from the opposite sex so Marcel sent Home Danielle, and Montana sent home prof green. Alex was the only newbie to stay.
Next day Jamie and Theo came in and the Georgia on recoupling day, I think she came in right before recoupling. Georgia picked Kem even though he was back with Amber and Amber did the eyes, then Theo picked Tyla and Jonny called him a bellend.

I am totally confused. About this recoupling thing. Maybe they are doing it different this year to shake it up.

Also I saw a thing on FB saying that insider knowledge says that Laura decided to stay coupled With Wes?! Surely not? She will go for Jack2.

It would have been good for Wes to come back with Kaz, so that he could have got back with Megan (lol!) and then Josh could have had broken it off with Georgia/see how he truly feels about her face to face rather than just brutally turning up at the villa with Kaz?

I did think Dani was ott in the diary room.

Samira's eyes are beautiful. I think she's the most naturally pretty girl in there. I really don't like the look of that Frankie though.

In the Megan/Wes recoupling clip Flak says something like “if Wes has chosen to come back single he is free to recouple with Megan” but could he also recouple with Georgia, if she stays loyal but Josh comes back with Kaz?

Hmmm..this makes sense but surely he’d have to know that Georgia was not going to be with Josh to do that so Josh would have to have come out with Kaz already. Honestly I need to forget about this for the day, it’s doing my head in!

I think Dani's response was extreme TO US becuase we've seen everything and we KNOW that Jack hasn't done anything.

but to them in there it's very intense and Dani has been worrying the whole time and THEN has discovered that her new boyfriend is now effectively living with his ex in an environment where she knows they are set tasks which encourage kissing and body contact.

I think she will calm down and see it more clearly and calmy soon but obviously it was a shock to her and I think people underestimate how intense and environment like that is.

Cherrypie I’m not thinking Wes knows G is free - he thinks Megan will wait for him but as she hasn’t maybe he can recouple with another girl who is left single (potentially Georgia but also could be Samira)

I really hope they don’t tinker with things so that Wes can stay. I want him gone. Obviously this would mean Georgia would be gone too (assuming Josh picks Kaz, which looks likely) and I would prefer if she didn’t. But I just want rid of Wes so badly I’d be prepared to lose G. She’d have a great time out of the villa with her mates anyway!

So last time the islander who was single at the time of recoupling (Tyla) just stayed in as a single so did not get to choose a newbie.

This year it seems that they do not want to do that (i.e. Adam and Megan just staying as singles), in part because they lose the drama of Megan getting to choose and in part (I imagine) because so many of the couples have already broken up so there is not much potential for drama if they do it the normal way (just Josh/Georgia).

This year it looks like there is an extra choice.
This means that Adam and Megan choose between staying single and coupling with a newbie
Others presumably choose between sticking with current partner, recoupling with a newbie or staying single.
What it not clear to me is whether those choosing to stay single only get to stay in if another islander who has chosen to stay single then recouples with them or whether they can just stay in as a single. I assume the former, otherwise it is too easy for them to hedge their bets, but the latter option would give hope of Georgia staying.

Interesting that they have chosen to give Georgia a hint that Josh may recouple (by showing the girls the video of Josh jumping around on the bed) but have not (that we have seen yet) sent the boys a video of what is going on the main villa (so wes has not had a hint re megan).

I hope they don't let the boys know what is going on in the villa as so far they have had the majority of the power.

Anyone else getting fed up of Dr Alex moaning to the boys that he's not getting any bed action? He did it with Ellie and last night he said the same about Charlie. He's coming across as quite entitled. I don't like it that it seems to be presumed (with them all) that you must have a kiss and cuddle in bed.

Why did Megan say things didn't work out with Wes, they were just fine before he left for casa amor I mean, they never fell out, they were all lovey dovey. Maybe she has selective memory

Laura too seems pretty chill about the fact Megan suddenly doesn't want Wes anymore. Perhaps she has enough sense to know Wes would've done something like that eventually with someone other than Megan so Laura just puts all the blame to him

Here is what I think will happen:
Dani sticks with Jack
Meg couples with Alex 2
Laura recouples with new boy (James?)
Alex recouples with Charlie 3 [she might say no in which case both go?]
Ellie 1 recouples with Charlie 2
Adam recouples with Daryle
Josh recouples with Kaz
Samira will probably recouple with Frankie
Bird will probably recouple with Ellie 2
Other new people all go home

[Could be wrong on Samira and Bird - one might chose to stick in which case they will go home as I doubt both will choose to stick.]

Wes will chose to stay single and then hope to recouple with megan (on the wrong assumption that she would also choose to stay single).
It all then turns on Georgia. If she chooses to recouple with Josh she is going home and Wes is going home. If she takes the hint from the video, she might chose to recouple with a newbie (Jordan?) and so stays and Wes goes. Or she might chose to stay single, and this in turn might save Wes if Georgia and Wes then can recouple with each other .

This leaves a lot of couples, so there will then need to be a public vote to get rid of least popular couple. Based on above, this could be Adam and Daryle. 2 least popular may even go given numbers. If Jack and Dani then each chose one person of opposite sex to go, Jack may send home Ellie 2 (definite point scorer with Dani). Dani may send home Wes (if he has managed somehow to stay in) or possibly Frankie (not sure she would really want to deprive Samira of a partner but knows he prefers megan) or Alex 2 (in which case Megan will go for Frankie).

Lots of potential for drama!
