I thought Adam was actually pretty horrible then. And yes, the utter gaslighting. I doubt She would have handled it well had he just been honest but at least he would have done the right thing. The way he behaved then made it a million times worse. I don't think Rosie is all that stable actually. I feel a bit sorry for her.

Laura lost a bit of self respect there with the cream nonsense. I hope she pulls herself together and tells Wes to do one tbh. At least she will retain some dignity.

Loved jack and Dani, again.
And for the first time I thought Alex looked genuinely attractive-I just liked him before because I felt a bit sorry for him-but he looked quite hot tonight.

There's an article in Heat this week that claims that real life Alex is a complete sleaze, that he has a reputation as the biggest player ever and that he's the total opposite of his LI persona.

And he works/worked at my local hospital... Grin

Finally a bit of drama to liven it up! I haven't liked Rosie from the off but I did feel for her at the end there. Everything she said was justified IMO. It's only been 10 days, but they've spent more hours together in those 10 days than most people who are dating spend together in months. Add that to the fact she only wanked him off the night before, she's gonna feel like a mug! He cast her aside the morning after his date with Zara and he's blaming it on her behaviour as an easy way out. I do feel for her even if she did similar to Kendall

Laura was sooo embarrassing with the whipped cream. It was so awkward! Wes is a dick though. Only last week he was apparently falling for her and he's backed away the minute a younger version walks in.

Much prefer Ellie to Alex. I don’t care how she eats she makes me laugh. Alex has the worst chat I have ever heard. Cringeworthy.

If you didn’t know he was a doctor you wouldn’t guess he was intelligent from the show.

Hello, I’ve been reading all the threads! This is my first love island. I’m in Spain at the moment to look after a poorly relative and have actually downloaded the free trial of itv hub+ so I can keep watching whilst away Blush

I’m only 10 mins into tonight’s episode but 2 things

  • I really fancy Alex, he looks a bit like my DP and tall, pale, blue eyes, bit posh and slightly —very— awkward seems to be my type. I’ve always gone for less conventionally attractive types but in fairness I think in any other more normal environment he’d be seen as attractive, just maybe not when compared to the Instagram ‘stars’ he’s in there with. I do cringe massively for him though and do wonder how on Earth he’s ended up on this show. I can see it getting even more cringey and desperate!
  • I’ve just watched the highlights show from Sat, it’s like a different bloody villa! Why do they keep all that stuff for the Sat and just give us a week of squinting and having the same conversations?

Just googled that but it appears to be a quote from one ex girlfriend so not quite ready to be convinced yet. I'm sure he is more popular in real life though when he's not competing with ultra confident male models!!

Alex isn’t in posh at all. He’s Welsh, his dad’s a policeman.

I read a ex date in the DM saying that he ghosted her after she refused to have sex with him. He tried to push her further than she was comfortable with after a handful of dates.

Tbh I don’t take anything seriously in the DM. But he is desperation incarnate.

Even though Adam is an arse it's like the motto 'he's telling you. So listen.'
I'm glad he there for entertainment.

Wes is sly and actually worse in some ways but Laura can't see a future with him surely so her game of playing safe failed.

What kind of doctor is Alex exactly? There was one of his pre-LI instagram posts on an online article of him in his scrubs and he'd captioned that his 4 months of A&E were done and as of tomorrow he would be delivering babies! I thought he was an a&e dr not an OB?

So he works other departments just as much as A&E? Why is he described as an A&E dr then?
How much power does he have if he's an intern? Like when he's working on a labour ward would he be making final decisions etc or is that for higher up doctors? Sorry I have no idea how it all works..

Alex was going on about the kiss, telling the boys that he told Ellie 'I'm going to kiss you now' in a seductive yet forceful way. Not quite the way it happened. He hesitantly leaned in, and she moved away as soon as the kiss started.

Then he was all high-fiving the guys in a braggy way. Yuk.

To be honest I’ve no idea why he’s done this. He’s still very much a junior doctor, and this is career suicide imo. Heard he wants to be a TV doctor...not sure if they’d let junior drs on, I mean what experience has he got exactly? And I can’t imagine him going back to the NHS as a trainee after that! Just the way it is.

Not really sure if he has the personality to be a TV dr? He's nice and everything but doesn't have the charming confidence like Dr Ranj lol
Other than that I don't know why he's gone on the show either.l, or why he was selected out of all the thousands of hopefuls. I reckon it was probably just to make a big deal that there's a doctor on love island. If he wasn't one then don't think he would have got picked tbh.
