Newspeak I'm considering watching season 2 as well, but it just seems a bit pointless...

Yes I kind of regret starting to watch this season and getting "hooked"...I don't know what I would do if I started watching a previous, more fun season as well. Probably lose my job and just stay home binge-watching all day.

All three previous series are good. Series 1 and 2 on Netflix. No idea if you can get last year’s anywhere

The change around in Wes feelings to Laura is unbelievable, hero to zero in the blink of an eye. Last week he was gushing about Laura, wanted to be kept on a leash by her, falling for her and so on. It makes me suspicious that they are directed to mix it up and so much of it is fake. What I can’t work out is why do I continue to watch and be invested in this when I think the viewers are probably being played?

The blandest man alive is returning to the show

He may have made little to no impression on either the show or viewers at home, but it looks like Vanilla Ice will be returning to Love Island, just days after he was evicted from the show along with Hayley.

ITV2 bosses are said to be 'desperate' for Charlie Frederick to return to the villa, similar to how Muggy Mike metaphorically rose from the dead during last year's incarnation of the series.

An insider told The Sun: "Charlie was a hit with viewers and behind the scenes, everyone thinks it's really unfortunate he had to leave.

"There's been a lot of talk about how he could possibly make a comeback - just like Mike Thalassitis did in last year's series.

The comment about Sam rushing back to the villa with the coupled up girls. The implication is that she has no man to hang on to.

It has also been revealed that Plymouth model Charlie Frederick could be going back on to the show after fans said he never had his chance to shine.

Charlie isn't into Samira though. He said that when they met on Tinder or whatever it was before, he ended up ignoring her texts. They'd be better off sending someone new in for her.

That is, Samira has no man to hang onto except her cameraman..

I’ve just finished season 1 on Netflix. I LOVED Jonathan. BRING IN THE JONATHAN! Is he a knob now? But he can’t be. He was a unicorn. And a rainbow 😫

With two spare girls it's odds on one more guy comes in, could be Charlie, and rhe one unpicked girl then needs to leave...

If they bring back Charlie I think it will be later on. Anyway I read a comment from ITV that they have no plans for him to return at present.

LarryFreakinStylinson on TOWIE he’s so far removed from LI him it’s ridiculous. So angry, rude to women, hypocrite and a serial cheat (liar too obvs).

I don’t think he is being fake on either show but somewhere in between he became a very bitter man, or that’s what he’s like with people he has history with and LI there was none of that.

I think it would piss viewers off if he came back a week later. It’s either got to be much later or viewers get to vote him in (or both like last time).

I've only watched a couple of season 1, but Jonathan seemed sooooo annoying. Am I missing something? He just seemed to think he was the leader just by being louder than everyone else.

I've almost given up on this series in favour of watching series 2 which I missed at the time...it's brilliant like classic big brother with characters you'd actually want to be mates with and really well edited. Without giving any spoilers silly little but hilarious things like the cheese toastie argument, Nathan bursting out laughing when he ...Er-gets some action 'it just feels so good' , Scott talking in his sleep and one of the blokes saying his celebrity crush is Emma Bunton !!
