I adored the first. Read the book at school.

Im recuperating after a hysterectomy and im not going to lie, i thought about them all whilst i was going under. I was terrified that they would do something to me Blush

Anyway two weeks post op i watched the first one. I was a wreck. My question is, do i need to put myself through it on my 6-8 weeks off work or shall i find something much more light hearted?

Is the quality still there or not?

I think it's excellent.
And it has the funniest line in it 🤣

Yes, it's fab.

But if you have time on your hands the Good Place is very easy viewing!

I find season 2 more hard hitting that season 1. I binge watched season 1 but this one I'm watching one probably every two weeks, it feels more real and close to home, it's too much to watch all at once.

I've started (re) watching The Good Wife from the beginning. Still surprisingly relevant, and if you've already seen it, really interesting to see how the female characters developed. Equally it's something you can watch and not think much about at all!

Yes -the quality is very good - but it’s much darker than Season 1

Oooh - watch the good wife.

It's even more dark and thought-provoking than the fisrt series. I loved it so much, but for me it takes time to reflect on each episode so I cannot watch the whole series straight

Yes. First few episodes are difficult but gets really powerful. Would maybe recommend waiting til it ends and binge watching though, as it picks up episode 4 onwards (have watched up to ep10)
