Couldn’t see another thread and the last one is full!

I love J/D and just have a huge grin on my face whenever they are on screen. Same with Wes and Laura. They genuinely seem to like each other.

100% think Adam has tried it on with Megan. He will have been surprised she didn’t pick him for a date, that kind of man does not understand rejection.

Charlie is super creepy. I don’t like blonde men at all though but he reminds me of the lad off This Is England....the one who was always fighting with the main lot.

Hayley being nasty to Charlie again in the First Look video. Shame we have to lose him too when she's voted out as he seems like he's got his head screwed on! He made some great points when Eyal was kicking up a fuss about the boys' plan.

He got on well with Samira pre-recoupling so would be brilliant if they brought him back for her and a nice girl for Alex! Did want Megan to ditch Eyal for Alex but gone right off her after the last episode ("fake bitch"?!) so thinking they deserve each other now!

Definitely think this year seems so set up with producers telling them to talk in couples about their feelings. I just want to see natural banter and conversation about other things to show how they genuinely interact. All a bit boring.

Rykard went after Rachel because she was voted off from his couple when they were in the bottom two couples so it must have been that year I’m thinking of.

MiddleClassProblem I think that was because the public had been voting for their favourites and the islanders only found out about the vote when they heard the results. So they were put on the spot having to choose. So kind of the opposite of tonight’s elimination.

I think the producers are shooting themselves in the foot by second guessing the viewers and trying to manipulate it to be a hit like last year when it might be if they left it alone

Case in point - viewers wanted Hayley to go and Kendall with Eyal but they made the big drama Adam picking Rosie. It was quite obvious even then that Eyal HATED Hayley, and made no sense that he picked her

I also think there is a bit more manipulation this year. There was last year and I understand it's fairly scripted in telling them what to do, but already this year I've been a little disappointed a couple of times.

For example when it was manipulated to make Rosie pick Adam. I'd much rather she had had a proper choice and not have been forced into it. It was very much an anti climax.

I do think they need to let go a little and leave some of it to chance.

I also think some of it is fairly obvious too. For example when Laura said she was glad she was the one who got to give Adam an earful about his behaviour. This indicates she was told to do it and that's not good.

I also wonder how they choose who picks first. If samira was before hayley then she'd have picked charlie. I think the order should be out of a hat.

Samira was on the record that she was picking Alex, she went as far to say she hoped Megan wouldn't pick him because it screwed her.

I think she knew Charlie didn't reciprocate

I wish Rosie would lay off on the makeup. When she has none or less on she is actually very pretty. When she's got the brows and the lips plastered on she looks like a clown. Last night her face looked filthy due to the huge amount of contouring she had done.
I don't mind her, except she is being so short sighted about Adam, but the Make up grinds me immeasurably.
I don't know why I let myself care so much Grin

I am hoping the public will vote to save Sam and Alex and then the islanders will vote off Hayley. I think this is very possible because the recouplings are much more dramatic when there's an odd number of islanders and with Niall having left they only need to lose one person ow and not two.

To be fair though that conversation was immediately preceded with her saying she'd pick Charlie but she thought hailey would first.

@TheLastNigel you are not wrong about Rosie's make up!! She makes herself look a bit rough i think, as though she's got home from work and just trowelled more makeup on too of what she's worn through the day

I'm dying for her to set herself apart from Adam. It's a shame she's let him off so easily.

@Bluntness100 having Rosie go last was a huge missed opportunity for drama. She could have 'stolen' several of the boys, Alex/Josh/ Charley and really put the cat among the pigeons.

I can't fathom why they didn't capitalise and basically made it really predictable. Out of a hat would be MILES better.

Totally agree, I was watching it with my daughter, we were both like ooh can't work out who will pick who, then they manipulated it and we were like, oh, that was a bit dull . Could have been so much better.

I suspect they think they need to keep Adam in, and they really don't.

Agree with other posters that this series just seems too engineered or scripted. It doesn’t feel as natural & the contestants just don’t seem as funny or engaging. I also feel that some are uber conscious about potential career opportunities & are careful how they are portraying themselves.

I'd rather Josh & Georgia had gone in the bottom two as they've barely been seen the last few episodes. Hayley, Eyal and Adam aren't likeable but they are spicing it up so I'd rather they stayed in to be honest. Having said that, I do really like Charley and I don't want him to go.
