Every bloody time (aka "why do I not learn?!")

For the past few years it's been The Walking Dead. On a Monday they would publish either a plot-spoling photo and/or caption after the US broadcast.

And now they've done it with The Handmaid's Tale too - revealing a fairly significant plot twist happening in a future episode, so not only do they spoil current episodes, but also later ones (this time I avoided the site till after I was caught up, and it's STILL been spoiled!)

And they don't only put these spoilers in the dedicated TV section that you can carefully avoid, they are right there on the homepage so you just scroll into it without warning.

3 years running I complained about them spoiling the zombies and got exactly (almost word for word) sorry-not-sorry back. They are showy offy look how much we knowy bastards.

I hate this. Its not just the independent who do it either. No word of a lie a few years ago I was watching one of the breakfast shows whilst getting ready for work and they ruined the ending of a show which was due to air that night in the UK! I assume they got royally bollocked for it but the damage was done, I knew the ending and it properly ruined my day.

I am not asking for a blackout but if the show has not aired in the UK then UK websites and media should not be reporting it. Why should we get it spoilt just because it had aired elsewhere or should we just not access any form of media digital or otherwise until it has aired in the UK (see how stupid that sounds, but I truly don't know what alternative there is).

I have never forgiven "What's on TV" magazine from years ago when they did an article about The West Wing right before the UK premiere of the election result episode in S7.

still watch the whole lot (apart from the first few with stupid Mandy) over and over though
