I'm not saying that some people haven't been affected by things, but I agree that sob stories shouldn't influence votes. It is called Britain's got talent for a reason.

I don't think that is being used as a a sob story at all. If anything it is being done to explain his comedic style. That would apply to Lost Voice Guy, too. The boy yesterday was an example of a flung in sob story re learning needs.
