Evening. Starting off tonight. Won't be here tomorrow night!

I missed tonight's show and have just looked at the acts who got through. What a load of shit!

That was really shit! The wee boy and the one song guy were crap, the choir were brilliant.

What a crock of shit. That boy was terrible, yet AH and AD told him he was "pitch perfect" FFS. And I nearly cringed myself inside out at the song.
And the Wiggle guy... same bloody song as audition! Feel sorry for those who made an effort and tried something new.

Most acts were crap tonight: the "comedian" and impressionist were terrible. To think how many talented people didn't get through!

I went this evening to the filming, First time. It was interesting to hear it live, can't wait to see it played back.

We were in the circle. So quite high and definitely the show is designed to be seen on tv and the stalls. So a lot of the sound was off.

Choir were OK, audience loved them I didn't get the emotion the judges talked about,

Little boy was out of tune. Audience loved him.

You couldn't properly hear impressionist and comedian. Shame. The audience is geed up in the intervals so quiet and cerebral isn't quite going to do it.

Audience loved weebly man - it sounded identical to the audition.

The Michael Jackson thriller imitators - audience went wild for them. I explained to my DC that I would show them the MJ thriller video from over 30 years ago and perhaps they would then see why I was clapping politely.

Personally I liked the opera/musical guy best. He filled the theatre. Simon's comments to me just seemed about the £. That guy wouldn't make cowell any money,

It will be interesting to see if the choir wildcard. I agree with pp above. I think the young boy would have cried badly and Simon didn't want the bad publicity, however it was a poor song and performance from him.

I can't believe the naked teacup guy got through to today's semi final! So much for ' oh we've let go so many talented people if they wasted a space on him! Of course they won't put him up before The Queen!

It's the same every year, you wonder how the hell some of the semi finalists go through. I suspect they're selected to ensure that the favourites plucked from You Tube to Audition get through to the finals.

raisedby I found the naked teacup guy entertaining, at least, which is far more than I did most of these acts last night.

I don't agree, I'd have thought he had the most money making potential. You can't make much from dance troupes, kids that can't sing, and niche performance groups. But yes, Cowell essentially told the audience not to vote for him, and the voters always do as they're told.

Remember it is meant to be variety something Simon cowell forgets so naked teacup man deserves to be there just as much as kid street dancers imo. I actually liked the scary magicians last night but they were not SC approved so they lost out

Thought the auditions were way better than the semi finals. The only one I would have voted for if I could be bothered was the opera fellow. He had a great voice but run down by judges who have a different agenda. Can’t help feeling that this whole thing is fixed to a large extent.

The auditions are usually better the man singing last night should have picked his own song they seem to be having a greatest showman themed year and that song didn't suit him but he was probably railroaded into singing it. The welsh lad is on tonight I wonder what he will sing

I also think quite a lot of the acts have one good piece/dance/song etc. They have practiced and practiced and honed their audition piece and when it comes to the semis they have run out of ideas/material.

I'm not watching it tonight

Might actually give up on it now after last nights results. I might peek in on Sunday to see who wins but I've completely lost interest

Didn't know there was a thread till now, I needed it last night and forgot to look. Thought little singing boy was completely and utterly out of tune, dreadful (sorry little lad!)
