I just didn't get what they were doing, soubriquet ...

I find often that the semi final glammed up sets, extras etc seem to negatively impact acts

I just saw a black t-shirt with white writing covering it and I'm 100% certain I saw people in the audience with the same T-shirt during a particular act

He'd have done better doing a different song, surely.

Works for the audition....no he has to kick it up a notch now and he hasn't.

Does anybody else think that the show in general is s%$t this year? I think Ant is under pressure carrying the whole thing on his own, he's a real professional but it's just not a one-person job and it's a huge change for him to have to front something like this alone. I think the new venue doesn't seem to work as well - is it too large for the acts? They all seem dwarfed by the surroundings. As for the judges, they just look as if they are desperately trying to dredge up some different phrases for each act, made even more difficult by that fact that most of them are just not very good.
