Although the whole Redwater thing is like a parallel universe rather than a soon off. Kat had totally changed her style in that and Alfie had grey hair, but they've both returned to their EastEnders styles as if Redwater never happened. Means the whole RW programme an even bigger waste of time.

Presuming Shakkie doesn't make it, I'm already nervous about watching Bonnie Langford as the grieving mum. I think she's going to be brilliant at it.

There's going to be a lot of emotional scenes coming up I think. Mas feeling guilty about blood and not knowing. Mock feeling guilty for assuming he's drunk. Carmel feeling guilty for not being there. Karen feeling guilty for saying to leave Keegan and not to look for him.

And the Alfie call was brilliant. I'm assuming Kat knows - hence her dislike for Hayley. I also assume it was Alfie the phone? Perhaps the outfit she put Hayley in has some meaning for her and Alfie?

2 quite good storylines but I hope they both run well and funny and aren't done shoddily because of main story overload.

I don't think that alfie is the dad.
He's probably got in touch with Hayley to spy , get in touch with Kat who is ignoring his calls.
To do so he's had to give her a back story that paints him as the good guy.
Hayley now thinks good guy equals suitable father for her baby ( she was saying about good guys on the magic tube). Maybe has a bit of a crush.
So she's trying to seduce alfie hence the getting done up. And obviously she can't tell the family who she is really in contact with.
