You know like The Missing, or The Fall or Doctor Foster.

Doesn't seem to have been any on lately?

There's a new one called Innocent starting on ITV Monday at 9

Do you have Netflix? I’ve just watched The Sinner and it was amazing!

MyRelationshipIsWeird · 13/05/2018 21:24

Just started watching Safe with Michael C Hall, the guy from Dexter in it - with a convincing English accent! That's really good. Not sure how many episodes/series there are yet.

YY to The Sinner too.

CluedoAddict · 13/05/2018 21:28

Safe is 8 episodes on netflix it's really good.

RockingMyFiftiesNot · 13/05/2018 21:30

I’m enjoying Safe too

Accountant222 · 13/05/2018 21:40

bonfireheart · 14/05/2018 23:33

Safe and The Sinner on Netflix are fab

TamanTun · 14/05/2018 23:49

The Bridge

Whatwaswrongwiththatusername · 15/05/2018 00:17

Second Safe - as mentioned a really good accent there from 'Dexter'! I binge watched that pretty much on the first day (I have no life). But absolutely also second (x100!) The Bridge! One of my favourite ever series. Currently have all three series on iPlayer, and first episode of s4, which started on Friday.
Also: Grey's Anatomy, Bones, The Mentalist (loved that!), Criminal Minds and Elementary. Oh, and if you haven't watched Dexter you should give that a go too - another of my favourites.

ClandestineAdulation · 15/05/2018 00:42

Started watching Safe when I got home from work today and have just finished the last episode... I haven’t felt so compelled to watch something for such a long time, and god, I want to talk about it!!!

ILikeyourHairyHands · 15/05/2018 00:58

Watch Evil Genius on Netfilx.

Truth is much stranger than fiction.

It's a mad real-life Fargo.

HaroldsSocalledBluetits · 15/05/2018 01:18

Definitely The Bridge. It's all on iPlayer for a month so you'll get through it and then be able to watch S4 which they'll keep on for a while after. Saga Noren is a great character and it's absorbing and complex.

School12345 · 15/05/2018 01:20

We've just raced through Stranger Things on Netflix, Totally gripping, creepy and hugely fun st the same time.

Loonoon · 15/05/2018 01:22

Line of Duty also stars Suranne Jones and is absolutely brilliant. I don't know if it is available for download or if you'd have to buy DVDs but it is worth it.

I am currently watching The Good Wife on Amazon Prime. It's a law/police procedural. It's a bit cheesy but it's got me hooked.

I will be away for the summer in a remote location with no internet. I am hoping DH will be able to pick up a box set of Hill St Blues in the US to entertain me there (because it is the best police show ever in the history of police shows - even better than Z Cars). If not I will watch the Sopranos all over again.

Whatwaswrongwiththatusername · 15/05/2018 01:56

ILikeYourHairyHands - I saw Evil Genius on Netflix y'day, wasn't sure about it from the synopsis so didn't add it to my list. Would you encourage/recommend I give it a go? What would you say are it's main qualities? If you don't mind me asking, obviously! I do usually watch documentaries and Alice crime/true crime shows, so on paper it seems my thing but I just wasn't sure, and not sure why...🤔

Whatwaswrongwiththatusername · 15/05/2018 01:57

Sorry, no idea where 'Alice' came from or what it may have been autocorrected from...!

Discoveringpluto · 15/05/2018 06:14

Thank you thank you thank you! So many great ones to watch! X

blacksheeep · 15/05/2018 06:48

I'm glad I'm not alone in enjoying Safe. Will be watching innocent too

HermioneWeasley · 15/05/2018 06:49

The Bridge. One of the best TV series ever. All seasons on iPlayer at the moment

FreakyPurple · 15/05/2018 08:42

Have you seen Unforgotten? It was on itv a few years ago and I only discovered it recently. It's six episodes per season and two seasons.
