The Avengers- Steed, Peel/King.
The Saint.
Randall and Hopkirk (deceased) love Hopkirk and his wide eyed looks.
Persuaders
On the buses -I love Olive! She looks like Alan Carr!

Main reasons why the spy cult ones are that 2 of my fave ever writers, Dennis Spooner and Terry Nation have written a lot of them, they are also known for many classic Doctor Who's, and I love seeing actors that have appeared in classic Who on these programmes as wll.

Other nostalgic programmes- Heartbeat, Poirot, Foyles War.....theres so much rubbish these days, its great to see proper stuff. anyone else?

Not watching on TV exactly Qui but DH and I have started buying some 60's, 70's and 80's classics on DVD. We've just watched all the episodes of Sapphire and Steel and wowee it was brilliant. Very complicated plots but absolutely brilliant stories and acting AND music.

We have recently started Department S, which DH decided to try after the death of Peter Wyngarde (the forerunner to Jason King). If you can ignore the blatant sexism it is very entertaining and captures the 60's really well. And again, they knew how to compose great soundtracks for tv in those days!

I’ll watch the odd episode of Hi de Hi when it’s on. Holidays in that era look absolutely shite, and also hilarious. I wonder if there’s still any terrible camps like that around?

I loved Sapphire & Steel when I was growing up. The soldier at the station one has really stuck with me.
