Dilemma - Bear Grylls or Ray Mears?

I have only just noticed Bear Grylls after watching his programme earlier today....now, I love Ray Mears but am thinking Bear is my new hero....

Erm... did you know Bear once got frostbite on the tip of his willy? He said so in yesterday's Independent, but didn't say whether that bit was saved...

I have an idea.
I think we could have a reality tv show where they both lead tribes on a desert island. KBear and me will be in Ray's tribe. GDG and FrayedKnot can be in Bear's.
After 20 years the one that has captured most of the island and bred the most babies will be the winner.
Oh and it could also involve opening a restaurant to put their food-gathering skills to the test.

well I'm in the Ray camp, as he tends to cook his food. I saw a clip of Mr Grylls (why call him "bear",he's not a bear and his name is Edward)eating a fish raw, whole, straight out of the water- yuck!

I'm glad I'm not the only one finding it hard to choose!

DH and I were wondering who would win in a fight. I mean Bear is SAS trained, but Ray could hide in the treetops and shoot him with a homemade bow and arrow....
