Anyone watching new series of The Expanse?

Loved the first 2 series of this, excellent sci fi. Anyone watching and like to discuss?

There's a third series? Is it on Netflix, or being broadcast on TV?

I enjoyed the first two seasons, although it started getting a bit surreal.

I don't think S3 will come to UK Netflix until Autumn 2018, so I'll have to wait until then.

yeah im watching it from scify channel, not sure about netflix. i know what you mean the protomolecule stuff gor a bit outvthere but i think they're beginning to explain it (i couldn't resist reading a quick synopsis of the books and there us an explanation)

I got so excited, but I'll have to wait until it's out on Netflix. I really enjoyed the first two series. It's so densely plotted that I had to rewatch series one before series two, and I'll have to watch both of them again before series three. I love the little touches, like casting long-faced, lanky people for the asteroids, the way that the paint is rubbed away on the edges and corners of things, that sparrow hovering by just flapping its wings occasionally.

apparently s03 is on amazon prime now but yiubhave to purchase it..sonannoying how they do that, justblike the Handmaids Tale. Why cant they broadcast it simultaneously from whoever has the rights ie sify cable in US and Netflix Europe. Annoying.

I also like the attention to detail, specifically the different accents & dialects.

The Expanse has now been picked up by Amazon for series 4 which is excellent news. Is anyone else up to date on s3 and want to discuss?

I think its an amazing show and am enjoying it immensely. It's hard to watch in the uk I know, hopefully everyone will catch up when it come to Amazon.

I binges s1 and s2 on Netflix and am totally up-to-date on s3 (via some cheeky link). Absolutely love the series...just so much going on and it's got better and better!

Has anyone read the books? Are they any good?

yay! someone else watching! I hear the books are good and would normally read them but dont think I will here as the series is so good. I was planning to after SyFy dropped it but now that Amazon has picked it up I'm going to stick with the TV show. It's very tempting to google what's going to happen though as the books are much further ahead ...... I particularly want to find out what Amos' backstory is.
