Oh, she might get allies with Eeesh and Ruhma.

Is it mental health week?

Raahh · 19/04/2018 14:04

SouthamptonSad

At least it's reflecting how things actually are in mental health services for young people. Sad

Gobby really shouldn't be allowed to foster anymore. She has so many negative thoughts, which really is not in the best interests of the poor kid in her care.

I think I would slap the social worker.

Just so you don't think you're talking to yourself Raahh I've caught upon this. Wish my practice manager would find a pile of money somewhere! Why did the insurance company not pay out for the fire?

Raahh · 19/04/2018 17:45

doctors I was a bit confused by the insurance thing. I don't think I was paying attention. Grin

I went to the actual Drs today and had a laugh with the nurse about Doctors.

I think the Mill should be the subject of a takeover bid; not sure by whom yet. Perhaps the inhabitants of "in the Night Garden" would make a better fist of it?

AnneEyhtMeyer · 19/04/2018 22:16

The fact you can get an appointment at all is the most unrealistic part of Doctors.

At my practice you used to have to phone at 8am for a same day emergency appointment or you could go in and book a future appointment. People hated the system because it was impossible to get through at 8am and then you had to phone each day at 8am until you got lucky / ended up in A&E / died. To address the complaints the practice changed the system. You now have to phone at 8am to get any appointment in the next 4 weeks and nothing else can be booked outside of this system. The practice is stunned this is not working for patients and is unpopular.

I dream of moving to Letherbridge. I'd even be prepared to have 6tl as my GP.

toldmywrath · 20/04/2018 09:29

Anne Grin you must be desperate to say that about 6tl.

toldmywrath · 20/04/2018 09:31

The insurance company have refused pay out because they weren't informed that there was a doctor's surgery on the campus. Although I'm not sure what sort of increased insurance risk is presented and feel sure that they would query/complain about the claim being turned down.

toldmywrath · 20/04/2018 09:33

Plus I reckon the surgery itself would have legal cover and definitely liability insurance is mandatory. It's all just a plot device. Grin

toldmywrath · 20/04/2018 09:35

Surely the duty psychiatrist breached confidentiality when she said about the upcoming patient dousing herself in flammable liquid.Hmm

toldmywrath · 20/04/2018 09:38

Sadly the camhs storyline rings true. It's imperative that a young person suffering with mental health problems has the support of their families. How on earth is this achieved by being placed so far from home?

I've first hand experience and daily visits is a must. Sad

toldmywrath · 20/04/2018 09:39

are not is. I'll get me coat..

FuzzyCustard · 20/04/2018 10:03

I love my GPs. You can get seen the same day (by the duty Dr, but they are one of the practice Drs not a random locum) and have nurses and paramedics and nurse practitioners.... I give them a huge round of applause (and told them so). We're rural and a long way from hospitals (more than 40 miles) so are very reliant on them. Hurrah I say!

I would not have 6tl as my Dr for all the tea in China.

NutButterNutter · 20/04/2018 13:44

Just caught up on yesterday's (going to have to write off the others I've missed this week!!) and it was another lecture...

Parents are turning up any minute so I might not catch all of this one - boooooo!!

NutButterNutter · 20/04/2018 13:46

Not sure smashing faces is appropriate, Val.

And the vice chancellor naked would be awkward.
