redshoe I've mown the grass twice in the past week. I usually let DH do it, but he's been busy with extreme DIY.

Grass grows very quickly this time of year.

I've been saying I will cut the grass for weeks. But it has rained so much, its is now really wet, and I'm not sure our mower (or me)will handle it now. . We had one dry morning last week when I got all excited... and then it rained in the afternoon. Our front gets very little sun, as well, so even less chance to dry out.

I hate gardens.

I have no interest at all in gardening. I do admire other people's efforts but I would rather clean out my kitchen cupboards!

I think my apostrophe is misplaced in the above , should it be "peoples' " ? Oh dear its going to be one of those days.

I always wanted to come home and find that Alan Titchmarsh had been around and concreted over it and done me a makeover.

And got someone to do the house while he was at it.

I worry about my apostrophe use all the time these days. I go around the houses sometimes, and write rambling sentences , just to avoid having to use one. .

Raahh you sound like me. I am not one of those people who has to have everything looking just so/perfect. Good job, I love a bodge up that works out. My house is never ready, but I've always got tea, coffee and biscuits in.

Oops crossed post. I used to know how to spell and punctuate, but keyboard living and age has diminished my skills. I'm going to try not to use apostrophes today, to set myself a challenge.
