Help! The thread ran out on me!

I was worried for Sid for a bit there !
Tomorrow's golf one looks chilly Grin

cloudyweewee · 16/04/2018 20:16

I thought that about Bunny Boy's DNA too, Raahh. Confused

NutButterNutter · 16/04/2018 21:40

Just caught up with today but am am but lost - need to catch up on last week!
800 words is most excellent - enjoying it a lot! Dr Blake is always a welcome one, although I get lost easily with it. Me being lost seems to be a theme...

redshoeblueshoe · 16/04/2018 22:08

I've just caught up on last weeks, and todays. Hopefully I'll be watching with you all tomorrow, unless its really sunny I need to cut the grass.
Yep it was a bit worrying for Sid

toldmywrath · 17/04/2018 06:26

Nutbutter no no no don't try to persuade me to give 800 words another go. Grin

toldmywrath · 17/04/2018 06:28

redshoe I've mown the grass twice in the past week. I usually let DH do it, but he's been busy with extreme DIY.

Grass grows very quickly this time of year.

Raahh · 17/04/2018 09:04

I've been saying I will cut the grass for weeks. But it has rained so much, its is now really wet, and I'm not sure our mower (or me)will handle it now. Grin. We had one dry morning last week when I got all excited... and then it rained in the afternoon. Our front gets very little sun, as well, so even less chance to dry out.

I hate gardens. Grin

toldmywrath · 17/04/2018 09:17

I have no interest at all in gardening. I do admire other people's efforts but I would rather clean out my kitchen cupboards!

toldmywrath · 17/04/2018 09:19

I think my apostrophe is misplaced in the above , should it be "peoples' " ? Oh dear its going to be one of those days. Grin

Raahh · 17/04/2018 09:19

I always wanted to come home and find that Alan Titchmarsh had been around and concreted over it and done me a makeover.

And got someone to do the house while he was at it. Grin

OP posts:
Raahh · 17/04/2018 09:20

I worry about my apostrophe use all the time these days. I go around the houses sometimes, and write rambling sentences , just to avoid having to use one. Grin.

toldmywrath · 17/04/2018 09:22

Raahh you sound like me. I am not one of those people who has to have everything looking just so/perfect. Good job, I love a bodge up that works out. My house is never ready, but I've always got tea, coffee and biscuits in.

toldmywrath · 17/04/2018 09:24

Oops crossed post. I used to know how to spell and punctuate, but keyboard living and age has diminished my skills. I'm going to try not to use apostrophes today, to set myself a challenge.

Raahh · 17/04/2018 09:24

Oh, definitely. I'd be happy with a quick wallop of magnolia at the moment. . But I can't be bothered. I used to care more, pre children, (and a dog) but they just make things grubby. Grin.

Heston may be a squash god, but he looked like a beetroot.

In theory, with one practice out of action, they should inundated with patients.

Shouldn't they? Grin

Raahh · 17/04/2018 13:49

How long has it been there?? And the insurance didn't know?

OP posts:
Raahh · 17/04/2018 13:50

So, Daniel gets the afternoon off to play golf?

OP posts:
Raahh · 17/04/2018 13:51

He will play behind her- and hit her with the ball?

OP posts:
Raahh · 17/04/2018 13:51

So, he's not after money then. That's good.

OP posts:
Raahh · 17/04/2018 13:52

Can she play though?

redshoeblueshoe · 17/04/2018 13:56

Surely Mrs T would have been responsible for paying the insurance
