Well we've already seen their cavalier attitude to computer security!

cloudyweewee · 13/04/2018 20:20

When I'm back at work on Monday, I shall insist that my Y2s make a pipe cleaner Jesus.

Raahh · 13/04/2018 20:27

cloudy that is excellent post- Easter work Grin

My year 2 dd2 is yet to be persuaded to finish her homework Blush

But her fractured wrist is possibly an excuse (it is her writing hand so maybe I'm being mean Grin).

Raahh · 13/04/2018 20:28

(She insists Easter homework is 'eating eggs')

I hope none of you are dentists

OH as you may know is a doctors fan but rarely watches no dedication however he loves Eastenders. So just to annoy him I'm calling Mr Murray Mac.

It is sad his wife died . It was a bit sudden!

I sort of watch Eastenders. Well, it's usually on. Grin

I'm watching Masterchef. They have a really clever Thai Doctor bloke, over here doing a PHD. His flat mate said something like 'he's great, he puts the bins out'.

smiling good progress for babyval Bear

I've been watching but not commenting, not much I could get on board with. Su distracted me so much as I couldn't think of her but anything other than a later day Mrs Overall on speed Grin

toldmywrath · 13/04/2018 22:17

smiling I'm glad to hear babyVal is doing so well. I'm impressed with your multi tasking, three children under three, watching Doctors and commenting on here. You probably manage a bit of light cleaning as well. have you been to a juggling workshop?

toldmywrath · 13/04/2018 22:19

Oh doctor, how you must envy the excellent set up at the Mill health centre. Do you carry out church/workplace/graveyard and even perhaps home visits? I bet you also visit your patients in hospital. Grin

doctorsnoddy · 13/04/2018 23:02

Not often but then neither have I been kidnapped and chained to a radiator

FuzzyCustard · 14/04/2018 10:34

Not often but then neither have I been kidnapped and chained to a radiator
This made me laugh.

Hurrah for BabyVal...well done smiling. Mainly for remaining upright in the face of much adversity (I had 3 under 3.5 and remember it well. But they do grow up!)

raah I wanted the Thai chappy to win. He was so lovely. A bird shaped dumpling and fried ice cream egg? Winner winner chicken dinner! Or not.

toldmywrath · 14/04/2018 11:58

Ah my daughter popped round on Thursday and asked to have MasterChef on
She wanted the Thai man to win as well. His white chocolate savoury thing was a revelation.

toldmywrath · 14/04/2018 11:59

The radiator comment made me laugh. You're obviously a long standing viewer then doctor. Grin

I'm back from my holiday, and I've only caught up on Monday and Tuesdays, so I've only read the thread up to Tuesday. Completely agree about Joni's clothes why did they dress her as an old woman ?

I didn't think it was possible to still buy such butt ugly glasses , to be honest. Grin. My mum had Deirdre ones in the 80's . I had to suffer pink nhs ones (and quickly got contact lenses when I was 13Grin)

DD1 is 11. She has new glasses every 6 months due to her eyes changing so quickly. Her glasses are great- although she is very specific in her tastes, and her last pair were mens!Grin

I am indeed toldmy It's my guilty pleasure. Even though it is so far removed from real life as it's possible to be. I enjoyed Masterchef to apart from the odd Peruvian food episode.

SubtitlesOn · 15/04/2018 01:38

So who was the fire lighter?

Dodgy receptionist or druggie mum against Daniel?

I really enjoyed watching the "training" sessions GrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

SubtitlesOn · 15/04/2018 01:43

Have you guys being watching 800 words afterwards?

Raahh · 15/04/2018 12:00

subtitles ever since I read fire lighter in your post I have had Fire Starter by The Prodigy stuck in my head. Grin

I have been watching 800 words. Obviously , the Beeb have recently purchased a job lot of shows from Down Under to fill the 2.15 slot.

We will be getting repeats of Dr Blake soon, probably. Grin

OP posts:
toldmywrath · 15/04/2018 12:42

I watched the first episode of 800 words. But all the calamity and community spirit annoyed me. Is it worth sticking with then? I watch enough rubbish, but proud to say that I don't watch Emmerdale, EastEnders or Corrie. But I do watch classic Corrie.

FuzzyCustard · 15/04/2018 13:03

I watched the second episode of 800 words (where they were all being horrid to the blokey and his family because he called them "dead end") and promptly forgot all about it.

Raahh · 15/04/2018 13:05

told 800 words fills the time slot is about all I can say. Grinthere was a long winded thing about surfing the other day that I got bored with.

Sticking with the Aussie theme, I'm tormenting myself watching the commonwealth games closing ceremony. They have a bunch of women i dont know singing songs because they clearly couldn't afford Kylie or Sia. None of them are very good singers. It's quite painful. But I've just walked the dog, it was on when I got back, and I cba to find the remote.

It's in Birmingham next time apparently.
