Help! The thread ran out on me!

Completely agree about Joni's clothes. I commented on them to DH...why IS she wearing the wardrobe of a rather elderly lady with no fashion sense from the 90s?

MadisonAvenue · 11/04/2018 10:21

I hope that's the end of the Joni storyline.
The mother annoyed me, and whoever works in the wardrobe dept needs to research what 14 year olds are wearing. And how they wear their hair. And where the hell did they find those glasses?

toldmywrath · 11/04/2018 10:45

Madison I agree with the whole of your post. I've got better dress sense and spectacles than Joni and I'm an old biddy as previously mentioned. Grin

toldmywrath · 11/04/2018 10:46

Raahh that's a talent and no mistaking!

Raahh · 11/04/2018 11:05

I cant attest to the fact that 14/15 year old boys wear hoodies . And mooch around with their hoods up in the house as if they might be spotted by someone they know. And grunt.

So I can kind of understand why Joanie doesn't want to be oneGrin.

14 year girls in ds's class veer from having 'on fleek' eye brows Grin and long glossy hair, to looking like goths. They don't look like Deirdre Barlow.

Fingers crossed that's the end of Joni and we can resume some daft badly acted non pc theme hammering lunch time entertainment!

I am week 6 of c section recovery and am now flying solo without help so am hoping to resume watching live without interruption

Raahh · 11/04/2018 13:49

Another course!!

This is an episode about sleeping then.

OP posts:
Raahh · 11/04/2018 13:56

This is a bit of a dull episode really. I recognise Sandra.

OP posts:
Raahh · 11/04/2018 13:58

And Daniel is still wittering on about Joni.

What is Valerie doing now? Grin

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 11/04/2018 14:07

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 11/04/2018 14:07

The mum is played by the actress who played phone in goodnight sweetheart

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 11/04/2018 14:11

Phoebe not phone

Bloody spellcheck

Raahh · 11/04/2018 14:12

Yes, Elizabeth Carling- she's been in quite a few things, hasn't she?

I'm amazed how many courses they go on.

Person dressed as a rabbit.

Interesting.

FuzzyCustard · 11/04/2018 18:31

I missed it again.
A rabbit? Did it have myximatosis? (I have no idea how to spell that. Neither does spellcheck)

Lol to this - so true, but I wonder if that was her hiding her body. I recall wearing some dowdy little numbers as a teen (early teens) and it was about being body conscious in the extreme.

I was a little dissatisfied with the Joni story line - it didn't ring true but Doctors likes all the loose endings neatly tied.

Raahh · 12/04/2018 13:48

Another odd receptionist. Where do they keep getting them from?

OP posts:
Raahh · 12/04/2018 13:49

Su without and E Grin

OP posts:
Raahh · 12/04/2018 13:50

The E doesn't even make a difference to pronunciation.

OP posts:
Raahh · 12/04/2018 13:50

Rabbit man!

OP posts:
Raahh · 12/04/2018 13:51

Eww.

OP posts:
Raahh · 12/04/2018 13:52

Su is somewhat shrieky.

OP posts:
Raahh · 12/04/2018 13:55

How can they keep going on all these courses and team building things?

What's the point- they've only got one patient- between two surgeries Grin And he's dressed as a rabbit.
