Omg Gaynor is an MNetter. Hello Gaynor 😁.

Just watching this now. First of all makes me mega broody!!! Secondly I really like Billie and Gregg, seem really down to earth and I know others probably won't agree but I quite like big Paul and think he's just not up for the fame thing.

Anyone else watching?

There’s 2 types of people in the world. The superficial people pleasers and the straight talking ones who are not afraid of having an opinion or saying what’s on their mind. I personally can’t stand people pleasers!
I always enjoy your posts and I know we would get on irl we like the same crappy tv and we don’t mince our words Grin

whatsthestory123 · 13/12/2018 08:55

i did find Billie annoying constantly going on and crying over Nelly starting school, cards, key rings etc

love watching Arthur though

Scotschic · 13/12/2018 09:50

Well Bubba that’s true but reading back over my posts then I do think I’m sometimes ‘a bit much’, like I said then my posts, at times depend on my mood but in saying that then I do think that Sam & Paul are idiots and whilst I like Billie & Greg then they are all quite self promoting, although it’s about making money for their future and that of their kids’ future, and if your putting yourself on a reality show then you need to take both the good with the bad, same with posts on the internet!

Although the other part of my brain is saying ‘why am I saying some of my posts are a bit much’, what just because a few people on this thread don’t like what I say and have expressed it in a very straightforward way?!Grin Well I’d rather be a ‘bit much’ than superficial that’s for sure! The only thing that’s superficial about me is my hair colour and my nails!!Grin

I haven’t watched last night’s episode but I agree with another post, that Paul is controlling and he always has been, it’s also why I think Sam has changed so much from her towie days, she was one of my faves in towie and I wasn’t particularly keen on Billie, but the tables have turned and Billie has came into her own now!

Bubba if we share a lot of the same views then most likely we would get on irl, and no doubt that we’d debate in a friendly mannerGrin and I’d get louder and louder as I tried to get my point across!

The internet can be wonderful due to the anonymity of a lot of sites but it has its disadvantages too.

I too hate people pleasers and my mother is one which is why I’m probably the opposite! Grin

Scoose · 13/12/2018 11:56

I was wondering how long it would take Sam to mention she's breastfeeding Hmm. I'm
Glad billie says something on the next episode about little Paul going to nursery. It would do him good to socialise with other children and may stop him becoming awkward like his dad! Ew at gaynor when he was coming out of the sea that's such an odd dynamic!

Frosty66611 · 13/12/2018 12:00

Big Paul is so irritating! It’s always his way or no way and he always has a face like a slapped arse. I don’t know why he can’t compromise and take little Paul to a part time play group for a month to see how he gets on. He can always take him out of it if there are any concerns

MiniCooperLover · 13/12/2018 12:07

Why was Paul feeding little Paul his food and not letting him do it himself? Also an iPad at the table during meals? Ahhh why ??! They aren't helping that little boy at all.

Studentnurse1981 · 13/12/2018 12:34

Sam always puts words in Paul's mouth. You missed me didn't you Paul, you never want me to go away again do you Paul, the house wasn't the same without me Paul was it ???? Arghbhhh she is so desperate for Paul's affection. He doesn't give a shit about her. They will never last . Sorry but they are complete opposites and she is so fame hungry it's pathetic

OneInAMillionYou · 13/12/2018 13:25

Sam makes me laugh. She was trying to force the children to have 'missed' her, little Paul barely looked up from his toy! I think she forgets that the magic of television means we can SEE what happens, so it doesn't wash that two minutes later she is talking to the camera saying the direct opposite or " ooh I knew what Rosie/Paul was thinking" lol.

What a drama and fuss about Nelly going to school, and was Billie wearing her pyjamas on the school run? The bottoms were dragging on the ground.

I must be one of the few who doesn't like Greg. He is very vulgar with all the farting talk and getting drunk at Billie's work event. I would be embarrassed if he was my partner. Does he have an actual job now or has he gone the way of Paul?

Great fun to watch though 😀

scaredofthecity · 13/12/2018 13:40

I'm definately a people pleaser and I think it goes back to being horrifically bullied at school. I recognise a lot of what Sam does in myself and I wonder if she's the same?

Its a confidence thing for me, I'm just not confident enough to say what I really think sometimes, I also care a lot about people and don't want to hurt anybodies feelings.

I know I'd be awful at being famous, I care way too much about what other people think, my anxiety would be through the roof! I really don't think fame is all it cracks up to be at all.

MiniCooperLover · 13/12/2018 13:51

I can understand them making such a fuss about Nelly's first day. You generally never know how that child is going to take it and Nelly is clearly a bit more unpredictable than most 😊

BlancheM · 13/12/2018 13:51

Wouldn't life be so much simpler if people could be pigeonholed into two categories, Bubba?- if only! Those comments were about a week ago weren't they? That got boring fast.

Urgh Paul needs a rocket up his ass. He comes out of his shell a bit when he's around Greg the gregarious but I'm saying that at a push.

MiniCooperLover · 13/12/2018 13:52

But the constant I miss them, they missed you ... it was a bit desperate to prove how close they all are. I think Gaynor prob did absolutely everything for Big Paul so he feels Sam should do the same for their kids.

MiniCooperLover · 13/12/2018 13:53

And how creepy 'look at my boy'. Bleugh.. James Bond moment my eye 😂

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 13/12/2018 14:09

When big Paul went all silent and stone faced about nursery I got such a flash back to Gaynor and the home birth subject- the moodiness and controlling nature when they don’t get their own way is scary. Sorry but I don’t see any relationship lasting when one party (Sam) treads on egg shells around her partner (Paul) you have to be able to say “you’re being ridiculous”
Perhaps Paul is scared that when Paul goes to nursery it will highlight that he doesn’t do anything all day but play with plastic animals.

Have to say for a couple that go on and on about what’s best for their children, Paul isn’t half stuck with an iPad at every opportunity.

Scotschic · 13/12/2018 14:24

Scaredofthecity I take others feelings into consideration irl but this is a thread about reality tv so it’s a little different, however when friends ask me certain things and if I think they need to hear the truth, regardless of if they are going to be hurt, then I have to tell them honestly, not in a horrible way, but people that actually know me know that if they ask me such things then I will tell the truth and that’s sometimes why they ask me! I can be a people pleaser in other ways, for example my boss will ask me to cover a certain shift and even if I feel I’ve done far too many hours that week then I’ll still say yes because I don’t want to let her down, I’ll then inwardly say to myself ‘why did I say I’d cover when I have x,y,x to do’, but that’s from a traumatic experience that I went through and I let so many people down, hence why I’ll do this. Although when it comes to people asking me opinions on things then I’ll tell the truth, unless I was absolutely terrified of what the truth may do to them, or what they may do to me because of telling the truth! I think it’s because when I ask friends things then I expect honesty.

I didn’t watch last nights show but from other posters and from what I’ve seen previously, then I don’t think that Sam and Paul will last either, she could do better and in all honesty she’d be better off on her own. I think it’s awful when he has made references to her body not being as ‘hot’ as he once thought, he can talk! I honestly think he has her where he wants her, but he needs her way more than she needs him, I just wish she’s see this herself!

Greg can be quite vulgar but I can’t help but like him! Arthur is so cute that I just want to kiss him and squeeze his little cheeksGrin

MiniCooperLover · 13/12/2018 14:31

I admire Sam for once for standing up to Big Paul regarding pre school, she knows how tough it'll be to get him ready for school and is trying to prepare him (and Big Paul) for the separation but Big Paul was only thinking of himself. Maybe he could ... oh I don't know ... get a job to occupy himself?

Scotschic · 13/12/2018 14:37

Whatever happened to the property developer job he once claimed to have?Hmm. Big Paul is such a big bairn!

Scotschic · 13/12/2018 14:38

Oh he was an estate agent too...Hmm

Underworld345 · 13/12/2018 14:44

People saying Paul is controlling? How do you really know...we only see a a tiny part of their lives and what we see is in front of cameras? Who would really be themselves in from of a camera?

Sam is the one who brings in the money and seems like the one in control - I think she wears the trousers.

So cute st nellys first day. Love that Greg started crying and showing his true emotions. I also shed a tear.

Mum2be2017 · 13/12/2018 14:52

Well, I think some posters on here maybe need their own reality tv show as they telling us about them on here so much!! (Just being honest, as apparently honest is the way forward!) 😂😂😂

I don't see how Paul is controlling, I don't think he's quite intelligent enough to be that tbh! I think it's sams insecurities and she's begging Paul for that affection and the need to feel needed? Just my opinion.

I did think it was funny when they said 'Sam is cooking a nutritious breakfast' and she gives Rosie a digestive biscuit 😂 made me laugh!

MaHeidsGouping · 13/12/2018 14:56

Haha I thought the exact same when she handed the biscuit over Hmm!

Scotschic · 13/12/2018 16:08

Some people need to really hush now, I was writing back to Bubba and the other poster who mentioned the straightforward thing, at no point did anyone say it was the way forwardConfused

BlancheM · 13/12/2018 16:29

Sorry what?

Mum2be2017 · 13/12/2018 19:46

I've just watched the last 30min....and Greg crying at nellys first day was so ahhhhhh! I love Greg!!

MiniCooperLover · 13/12/2018 20:10

Greg has either grown up a lot the last couple of years or had some major media training ... he did not come across well at all the first series when Billie was pregnant with Arthur.
