Omg Gaynor is an MNetter. Hello Gaynor 😁.

Just watching this now. First of all makes me mega broody!!! Secondly I really like Billie and Gregg, seem really down to earth and I know others probably won't agree but I quite like big Paul and think he's just not up for the fame thing.

Anyone else watching?

Scots whose the estate agent...Paul?

Scotschic · 06/05/2018 11:05

Apparently wheelycote, but I think he was obviously unemployed because when they went to register Rosie’s birth then there was a stumble over his occupation Hmm and if you really were a property developer/estate agent then don’t you think he’d have said?!

PaddysMarket · 06/05/2018 11:36

Remember when they 1st got together he was driving around in a beat up VW Golf now he's selling clothes and driving around in a top of the range Range Rover.

MrsCatE · 06/05/2018 11:48

What do these women see in these blokes!!! Both men are all about themselves (although Greg seems to be trying to help out now). For example, Paul had a strop because got tired of shopping for the baby (would have perked up if it had been for him) and stomped off, despite having previously agreed to lunch at her mum's. She then turns up on her todd embarrassed and making excuses. Greg was a total knob on holiday when he bought loads of mates and spent whole time carousing leaving her to cope with fractious baby - upset be all the noise. Also, who complains about costs and then wants three stag do's, two abroad?

Sam must have been secretly pleased when Paul's God botherer mum went away for 6 months last year on mission.

I didn't see bit with pendulum where she had a hissy fit but as someone else pointed out here, you don't get something more based on supposition and/or Supernatural than God and nobody's questioning her Faith!

WheelyCote · 06/05/2018 11:57

I think it's sad that Sam is no longer part of the Minnie's business with mum and sister

She has the business with Paul but she even said that he does all the buying.

Hmmmm not a fan of Paul or his mum.

Scotschic · 06/05/2018 12:11

I don’t think Paul is the reason that Sam isn’t in business with her Mum & Billie, I genuinely think it was Sam’s idea to branch out and her idea to move out of Essex. I also think Sam would be hard pushed to find a guy with the same economic background as she’s not into sophisticated guys, the guys she likes are average type guys and she’s only rich because of towie and if it wasn’t for towie then she wouldn’t be worth £4.2 million, she would probably just have a normal job tbh x

PaddysMarket · 06/05/2018 12:37

I'm going to have a binge watch of Mummy Diaries today, I've just started S1 Ep1....I remember watching this 1st time round and being appalled how Paul spoke to Sam.

Scotschic · 06/05/2018 13:12

I think Sam is controlling in her own way and she didn’t get to know Paul before she got pregnant but I don’t think that she cared at this point as she was so desperate to copy BillieConfused

Scotschic · 06/05/2018 13:13

...and get pregnant too as Nelly had just been born.

PaddysMarket · 06/05/2018 14:04

Oh god I'm on the episode of Baby Paul getting his 1st Spanish lesson at 6 months 🙈🙈.

IHaveBrilloHair · 06/05/2018 17:38

Scotschic, I think that's why Greg and Billie seem more natural, because they are.
They'd been together a few years before having Nellie, whereas Sam just found some bloke to get dufferred.
I do think they both love the children very much, but they don't have much of a relationship other than that.

Scotschic · 06/05/2018 17:40

I agree that Billie and Greg are more natural and Paul may not be the model boyfriend but he’s a fantastic dad and I think he’ll be consistent with it.

WheelyCote · 07/05/2018 09:41

I hope they do another season

Scotschic · 07/05/2018 20:59

Aww they deffo will do another season, where else is Sam meant to stay relevant if not on The Mummy Diaries?!

Is there a thread for the fearne McCann show yet??

Mammyloveswine · 08/05/2018 10:01

Scotschic my first was very straight-faced but now at 2 he's a right social butterfly!

Number 2 loves attention and smiles and laughs all the time..all babies are different!

I think Arthur seems a delight!

I suspect Arthur's unwillingness to join in had more to do with Billie's obviously being uncomfortable and out of place, he may have been able to pick that up from her. There's plenty of other pieces on camera where he's happy and joining in.

Scotschic · 08/05/2018 13:25

I don’t think Billie did appear uncomfortable, yes she admitted that she wasn’t keen on taking the kids to places like that but I couldn’t tell that she was uncomfortable.

IHaveBrilloHair · 08/05/2018 16:24

Its been commissioned for another series, I read it the other week and meant to post but forgot.

Scotschic · 15/05/2018 13:29

I just read in today’s New mag that the Mummy Diaries is going to be doubled in episodes for next time seen as it received so many ratings!! Hope it’s later in the year and not next yearConfused

Twogirlsandme · 15/05/2018 16:01

Wonder if they'll have a wedding special

PaddysMarket · 16/05/2018 11:10

Sam and Paul are on This Morning at 12...apparently to set the record straight about what was on the show, cheese toastie/separate beds etc.

CocoLoco87 · 16/05/2018 12:10

Just watched them on This Morning. I think Paul came across really well! He seems quite nice and he's just having to live in this reality tv world that isn't his natural habitat.
