Just watching this now. First of all makes me mega broody!!! Secondly I really like Billie and Gregg, seem really down to earth and I know others probably won't agree but I quite like big Paul and think he's just not up for the fame thing.

How on earth can sam and Paul afford such luxury houses and holidays ? It's like they are trying to emulate the wealth of the real housewives of Beverly Hills . The hotel in Dubai is insane and so so beautiful and only the wealthiest of people tend to book the suite they showed a clip of at the end of the show ? The housewives of Beverly Hills stayed there and they are all multi bazillionaires so it's peanuts to them , but come on , Sam and Paul are not that rich so what gives ?? Do you think itv are covering the costs ? I mean neither of them seem to do that much work and Paul is at home a lot ? Don't get me wrong if they have suddenly become mega rich then good for them but it just doesn't add up at all ? I like billy and Greg and they make the show . They are so down to earth and are not trying to impress anyone whereas Sam is desperate to come across as super mam and tries so hard to portray the perfect life style and that they are MEGA RICH ?! Paul just seems so dull and like he can't give a flying fuck about anything and Sam constantly says "don't we Paul " and he just grunts back "yeh" . He is actually quite likeable this series as he just wants to be a good dad whereas sam is coming across as smug , annoying and is trying so hard to keep up with the jones . I actually think she believes she is the English version of the kardashians haha

The amount of money that Sam & Paul has just annoys me, yes I’m jealous I suppose

I'd like that much money but not to be in the public eye, it would make me horribly anxious

The thing is Dubai hotels are all quite flashy, though that suite has been on RHONY so I wouldn't be surprised if the hotel do deals on it.

By contrast Billie and Greg clearly stayed in the more basic accommodation at their Maldives hotel because you didn't see their rooms and she seemed genuinely delighted to have a sea room for one night.

Re the wedding talking about budgets is a bit annoying as clearly OK magazine or similar will foot the bill? Also the 'next week' doesn't show Billie in a great light, very petulant about the wedding.

I agree Mini Cooper . Billie and Greg definitely stayed in the basic accommodation and I salute them for that . Sam would never portray this on to and likes us to believe she is a multi millionaire . I love Billie and Greg because their relationship looks strong and they seem down to earth and In touch with reality ! Gosh I'm so sad how much I'm invested in this programme haha

I think someone said sam us worth 4million so shes got a few quid however if shes spending 5k + a month on rent then bills for a huge house it wont last long unless shes earning 10s of thousands of pounds a month. God knows how much the programme and magazine deals etc.

Gregg must have an alright job with him sayinf he was paying for the wedding i just assumed it would be billie for some reason. Probs because shes a celeb. I think theyre budgeting but probably hoping to get a deal.

Ah glad I found this thread haven’t read all of the comments yet, Loving the series so far and agree with a lot of the observations, just one thing though is Sams healthy eating and organic food etc, could this just be because she has Crohns? She was diagnosed during CBB if anyone watched that, she’s also very good friends with her Luisa Zisman who is her neighbour, from following Luisa on instagram I know she grows a lot of her own fruit and veg and is very healthy.

Sam seriously needs a reality check. Those clothes she sells look so cheap and thin and none of her ideas are even her own Billie and Greg should just have their own show

She isn't that healthy ? Never seen anything on the show to suggest she is ? Last week she had a personal trainer and admitted her love for biscuits and junk food ??

Does she grow her own fruit in her "orangery" that she loves telling us she has haha

Love reading this thread more than watching the program- shocked at some of the parenting skills demonstrated! I still get upset at how Sam treated the designer Rachel Riley last series! Enjoyed the little kickers session.

I'll be sad when this show ends , it's one programme I look forward too most.

When did Sam and Billie appear in TOWIE? Greg said when he 1st seen Billie she was only 17 but if his friend knew who she was I'm assuming they were both in it from a early age.....I've never watched a episode of it.

I read that the house that Sam and Paul lives in actually belongs to someone else and it's all for show. I'd read it was Nialls from One Direction but I bet that's bollocks. Much prefer Billie and Greg. Sam seems to be obsessed with keeping up this image of a perfect life/home/relationship/kids whereas Billie comes across as more relatable.

I guess same would have been 19 / 20 /21 when first in towie. She was mark wrights love interest behind laurens back in the very first series. I never really warmed to her in towie but billie always came across as likeable if not a bit gossipy. Billie never had any love interests therefore she was likely with gregg throughout im sure he appeared a couple of times.

I was really confused about the timeline of their dating that they discussed at dinner. They met in Marbella when she was 18 and he was 17?! But he's older than her! Then their first date was when she was 21, in Ibiza?? Why did it take 3 years to go on a date? And then there was something about 5 years on. I think it was probably badly edited

I think they were saying he first 'saw' her when she was 17 (he'd have been 22), but they didn't actually go out until she was 22/23. I assumed he meant his friend knew her just as they're all local from the same town rather than TOWIE itself?

Agree with everyone that Billie and Gregg far more likeable and real. Sam seems only interested in presenting a perfect mum front but ie seems far more relaxed and happy in her interactions with the kids. Paul is a drip but does seem to genuinely enjoy spending time with baby Paul whereas with Sam it all seems so forced.

Ah yeah that makes more sense Mini....I did wonder because 17 is young to be on a reality TV show like TOWIE.

Sam was 19 when she first joined Towie and this was 2010, and Billie came later, maybe just 1 or 2 series’ after and she’s a year older than Sam. Billie also kept her relationship with Greg well away from Towie, he was maybe in 1 or 2 episodes but that’s it, I wouldn’t have a relationship on tv if I was serious about the person, maybe this is why their relationship lasted, because it wasn’t on Towie.
