Am important question about sons of anarchy- with a spoiler!

Ok so I'm about ten years too late but I've just discovered the awesomeness that is sons of anarchy and binge watched the entire 7 seasons. I can't believe I'd never heard of it before.

Anyway my very important question is at the end of season 6 before she was killed, do you think Tara and Jax got back together. Ie if she hadn't died, were you supposed to think that she was going to wait for him while he was in prison?

I think it was left slightly open ended, but it appeared not.

The only thing she asks is that he doesn't let their children turn into a version of him and the only thing he asks her is to be a good mother.

True - I think I've got a bit over invested and would like to think they'd have stayed married!
