Its one of those American Crime Stories and a real camp visual soapy guilty pleasure. Its on catch up. Anyone else?

It's quite gruesome isn't it?
I'm not hooked like I was on the OJ one though.
The guy from Glee who plays Andrew the killer is so creepily sinister.
But yes Penelope Cruz is terrible! Looks far too normal of face to be Donatella and her accent is piss poor. They've done well with the tension aspect so it's a shame the accent of one makes me giggle.

The guy that plays Andrew is superb. Creeps me out, you would be an emotional wreck having to spend time with him.
Loved the portrayal of David and his Dad, they came across as such warm caring people. They haven't shown much of Andrew's background, I wonder how long he'd been killing and what led him to it.

I kept screaming for him to get away, what was wrong with him he had loads of chances.

Oh i love this. The guy playing David is beautiful to look at. Very touching scenes. Just about to read up on him (the real David) here:

Has anyone see ep5 that is now on iplayer?

Episode really got me - the amount of shit that was thrown at gay men in the forces. The bit with the tattoo was so painful to watch.

What made it though was just how well Andrews character is played. Literally no sense of social cue.

We have been watching but I am starting to get irritated with all the backwards and forwards although Darren criss is great in it

WAS willing poor David to run run fast but sadly no escape for poor David, not seen this weeks yet

I've had to turn off episode 3.....sorry really behind! I can't bear to see him do what he did to the guy in episode 2 again 🙈 I said to DH that maybe I could step out of the room for all of the murder parts but will I miss most of the shows?

EachandEveryone · 06/04/2018 08:51

I had my eyes closed for the first murder in episode 3! Its over in 5 mins. It's a great series though.

I've been watching this. I'm really enjoying it, although I'm not sure 'enjoying' is the right word.

Darren Criss is brilliant in it. However the all over the place timeline is starting to annoy me. I spend about ten minutes of every episode wondering if I'm watching the right one as previously dead people are now alive again Confused

ButtMuncher · 07/04/2018 07:05

I've not had an issue with the timeline - I've always felt the notes have told us where we are at what stage relative to the murders. I quite like that it's going from the end back to the start to portray Andrew.

It's ready good - brutal, but good. Darren Criss is amazing in it - very very believable. I like the fact they are focusing more on the backstory of why and how and less about the actual murder and subsequent investigation - the backstory (although I suppose might not be 100% factual) is sort of weaving why and how for us. The bit between Andrew and his mother spoke volumes and I'd be interested to know if that dynamic was accurate.

The timeline jumping about really pisses me off. What benefit does it have? It's just pretentious writing to me.
