I don't understand men who have huge beards and yet fuck all hair on top of their heads. Just what is the point?

squoosh · 03/03/2018 21:50

Carry a stuffed leopard with you and pretend you've come as KH in Bringing Up Baby

hahahaIdontgetit · 03/03/2018 21:50

Ha, she's not the only one with children it seems....

dillite · 03/03/2018 21:51

She appears to be giving birth, which is the only explanation to that screeching noise that she's making.

Piggywaspushed · 03/03/2018 21:51

Will looks quite pleased that eh ahs pissed JHud off

Piggywaspushed · 03/03/2018 21:52

oh dear he has

dillite · 03/03/2018 21:52

Will's vocabulary appears to be even more limited to that of the president Orange Fart.

MusicToMyEars800 · 03/03/2018 21:53

We'll see you all next week, it's been a pleasure as always Smile

Piggywaspushed · 03/03/2018 21:53

Although Will has better politics!

The80sweregreat · 03/03/2018 21:53

Yep, but she is lovely - she is really nice and kind and funny.
I have one black frock. I could buy a feather boa thing and go as - well - ' woman in black dress with no imagination'
Fancy dress would be easier.
Anyway, till next week. Jessica rabbit hasn't sung yet has she?
So must be more battles to come..

dillite · 03/03/2018 21:55

More battles? Surely not? Haven't we suffered enough?

Piggywaspushed · 03/03/2018 21:55

Yes more battles to come. It's neverending.

Ta -ra all!

Raahh · 04/03/2018 14:12

I am just catching up with this - as usual the thread is far more entertaining than the show Grin

Some very odd song choices, though. And I can't decide whether any of them made the right decisions or not Grin

I noticed there were lots of hats again.

And I have to agree with S'Tom, that J-Hud (like most people) totally missed the point of 'Every breathe you take' Grin

And on the subject of being 50- dh was 50 last Wednesday Grin.

The80sweregreat · 04/03/2018 14:26

raahh, happy 50th to mr raahh!!

i didnt think of the 'summer of love' aspect of the 68 boom year - i was born in 65 and that was a boring year - i would have thought 67 would have been more prevalent as it was after the world cup win, but no. it seems 68 is the biggie round here.
i was buying 50 happy birthday cards and mentioned it to the sales lady and she said the same too. its so weird. nearly all my friends are younger than me and i didnt realise till now!!

Raahh · 04/03/2018 14:35

Thanks, 80s. We don't really bother with birthdays, and his birthday fell on the same day as my sister's anniversary so we made the most of her party instead Grin.

Dh's father was American, and his early years were split between the US and here, I think he might have been a 'returning from Vietnam' baby Grin.

The80sweregreat · 04/03/2018 14:42

ah i see!
i am wondering about this baby boom as mum told me it was during the early 60s - 65 , yet she was clearly wrong somewhere - my brothers were born in the 50s when there was huge spike ( after the war etc) so must have been another leap in 68 or something? i am confused to be honest, unless the ones born after the WW2 were then having children in 68 as they had them younger in those days. who knows. but everyone i know is 50 this year i am getting spooked by it. lol

Raahh · 04/03/2018 14:44

I must admit, I do know quite a few other people who are 50 this year. it does make you wonder, though.

OP posts:
The80sweregreat · 04/03/2018 15:00

it was a huge baby year wasnt it? i wonder why? it wasn't after the world cup win, it was years after the war had ended, maybe times were just right by then? i was a mistake, my mum and dad didnt really want another one in their early 40s, but they ended up with me. poor things.
