That is why I am sure it is TRE

LilyLoo · 02/05/2007 22:06

not only me then, i thought that too. TBH it pretty easy to guess final three with the programme editing.

OP posts:
PiusIX · 02/05/2007 22:08

Bacon and fudge

ArcticRoll · 02/05/2007 22:13

Katie comes across as very nasty person, her comments about Adam, ouch.
Hope Siralan sees through her.
Paul was arrogant and made wrong decisions, glad he went rather than Adam.

Gobbledigook · 02/05/2007 22:15

Katie is a hateful bitch. Her snobbery is astounding. She is absolutely hideous.

I don't know why they keep bringing Adam in. I mean, he's never going to set the world alight but there was no question at all that Paul was a complete fuckwit and deserved to go.

LOL at Katie adn Paul getting it on. Bleurgh!

The scottish girl seems to be getting away with doing feck all too.

IMO, only Christina is showing any evidence of grey matter at the moment.

brimfull · 02/05/2007 22:16

katie ,thinks she is the queen

LilyLoo · 02/05/2007 22:18

ArcticRoll · 02/05/2007 22:24

Yeah agree that Lohit should win.

puffling · 02/05/2007 22:39

I'm thoroughly ashamed that that Tim Shit but Dim fellow had the audacity to try to sell economy cheese blocks at the market. However, I don't agree with Nick Hewer's cheese and whisky analogy. Cheese is not exclusively a French product. We make some beautiful cheeses that I know the French would try, but that public school arse didn't have the sense to find them.

saadia · 02/05/2007 22:45

Katie makes my flesh crawl - she is nasty. And I find her relationship with Paul quite telling about class issues and about how the upper classes sometimes just stick with each other and make a point of looking out for their own - very narrow-minded.

Lovecat · 03/05/2007 06:47

So glad that Paul went! I thought he was a complete eejit (to quote Christina) and I HATE men who talk over you when you haven't finished speaking!!

Agree re. him and Katie, very p-d off that her boyf didn't come back, wasn't she? And she was such a damn parrot, saying that Christina should go for undermining Paul - sorry, but if someone's talking a pile of shite, do you sit nodding along so as to be loyal, or do you try to salvage something out of it? Bottom line, it was his decision to sell plastic cheese to the French. We were screaming at the screen 'what about Wensleydale?? What about Stilton? What about Stinking Bishop?' like so many Wallaces....

Adam - missed a bit so I can't comment on his signmaking/ordering abilities, but he does seem to be getting it in the neck, doesn't he? It'll be interesting to see if he does get to be team leader next week.

That skydiving thing the winners went on looked fun...

Furball · 03/05/2007 06:59

Paul couldn't admit that he was wrong. Even on the aftershow he tried to say what he did was right but little things like presentation let him down. If only they'd cut that block of cheese up the fact was he made that decision for cheese against everyone else in that team and then said as teamleader you have to take on board comments then just go with what you feel. [another ] If you're wrong then just admit it, to claim you are right just makes you look a prat. The other problem was the cooker, why after spending a bloody fortune on a banner did they worry about a tenner on a camping stove.

I like the way siralan everyweek puts a real red herring in everything and the teams always fall for it. Like say Harrods, those mouth pictures and last night makro etc etc.

albertson · 03/05/2007 08:01

Adam is being bullied for being northern as much as anything else, it seems to me, big sympathy vote here. Hope prog is being edited so he pulls something out of the bag and goes on to make at least final 3. Katie is a vile, snobbish bitch

baffledbb · 03/05/2007 08:19

Someone needs to tell Katie that the sun has set on the empire and that people like Adam and Christina don't belong "below stairs" which is what she seems to think.
Imagine Christina having the audacity to answer back!! and Adam having the audacity to just BE there!!

speedymama · 03/05/2007 08:58

Why did that upper class twit think that the French, with their refine taste for cheese, would want to buy that industrial grade British cheese? The sausages were a good idea as were the condiments like chutney. Paul's arrogant presumption and the fact that he did not even deem his team worthy to be consulted sealed his fate. As for his boy scout improvised tin can cooker - for me that summed up how detached he was from reality.

I'm so relieved that other posters have pointed out the insidious class snobbery that infects the totally vile and malevolent Katie. She should have been in the boardroom this week as well as last week. She regarded the house as a creche and that the only two worthy inhabitants were her and her fellow, insipid, upper class creature Paul. How dare the plebs sully her presence! As for her comment about Christina's orange skin, has she looked in the mirror recently?

The invidious tarnishing of Adam for being methodical, uncharismatic and pragmatic is unjustified. He speaks with a broad northern accent and they have labelled him a non-entity as a result.

The only one who deserves to be the Apprentice is Lohip. His performance at London Zoo demonstrated how he can engage with the public and sell. Similarly last week. He is a gentlemen, in control, he inspires loyalty, he is fair and he displays his aplomb and self-assurance without conceit.

albertson · 03/05/2007 09:35

Yeah, speedymama, Lohip to win! But he won't because SirAlan never chooses the right one ...

wannaBeWhateverIWannaBe · 03/05/2007 09:56

sir alan has wanted katie in that board room for two weeks now. I hope she goes soon I can't stand her! As for paul, what a condescending tosser he is.

The reasons why Adam keeps coming back to the board room are personal and not professional. people don't like him so they want him out, and if that were a real work place he'd have a case for bullying in the workplace.

StripeyKnickersSpottySocks · 03/05/2007 10:02

I'd have take traditional English puddings - stuff like treacle sponge, bakewell tart, spotted dick, etc.

French don't really have that sort of stuff.

speedymama · 03/05/2007 10:03

Sralan knows that Adam is being victimised by the others. Both last week and this week he has challenged the PMs about their choice of who they bring back to the boardroom because it is always Adam and not Katie. It is quite despicable how the others are treating him. It is invidious bullying and it is shameful.

I felt so sorry for him when he walked in and nobody greeted him. Lord of the Flies mentality setting in I fear.

saadia · 03/05/2007 10:05

I do sympathise with Adam and feel that the others are ganging up on and almost bullying him, which is very uncomfortable to watch. But OTOH I do think that he is not that sharp and lacks imagination. For example, he should have pointed out that even though he went £50 over budget on the banner, they lost by a lot more than that so Paul and Katie could not pin the entire failure on that.

baffledbb · 03/05/2007 10:07

So agree about Adam being bullied. For some (unjustifiable)reason he was identified by the other contestants as as a "Fall guy" early on. Last night in my opinion was his worst performance but he still deserved to stay. I think that because he knows the others have it in for him he has been trying to be less negative - hence saying Paul's idea of a stove for cooking sausages was "perfect", but I think that previously his negativity was well placed. Like i said before what is the point in being over enthusistic about a stupid idea eg mobile disco.

I can't wait for Katie to meet someone bigger than HERSElF (ie Sralan) and watch him swallow her.

UnquietDad · 03/05/2007 10:08

Did they have a list of particular retailers to go to? Siralan mentioned a "list". Obviously there is more to the task then just what they are told in the 5-minute briefing - written rules and so on.

If not, I'd probably have gone and got the whole damn lot from some nice rural farm shops - Great British Breakfast material.
