Anyone watch the new one tonight???

Another cliffhanger! I have my theory....

I was thinking as I watched two people run a red light next to me yesterday, you wouldn’t be doing that if it meant you’d be sent back to El Salvador...
I think the secret must be major for her to tell Richard when his friend had just died, and to say we are ruined.

Prancingonthevalentine · 27/04/2018 10:57

I’d assumed the original man might have stolen the research he made his name with - but the woman doctor seemed a bit young for that. They do like social issues so maybe going for a Weinstein type approach. They’ve already shown the gp to be a bit of an ass.

DispatchReady · 27/04/2018 13:32

Really hope April and Matthew get back together if she can't be with Jackson.

Jackson and Maggie - just NO! I find Maggie irritating anyway but her and Jackson is all kinds of wrong. Nobody can ever be happy forever on this programme- they all split so easily and for rubbish reasons!

The big reveal will probably not be that dramatic - it's just a way to hook us!

ANameforToday · 27/04/2018 17:35

I'm finding this season is way more political than previously, Shonda seems to be ticking off each issue

  • Black lives Matter (kid shot going in his window)
  • Trans awareness (the trans man who's an intern and the shiny super vagina construction)
  • Muslims aren't all terrorists (nice doctor took off her headscarf to save someone)
  • Deporting Dreamers
  • MeToo (guessing here but expecting that old Harper Avery will turn out to be a sexpest who used payoffs and non-disclosures)

Don't get me wrong, they're definitely all important and worth covering, but it seems forced.

Also I'm finding Jackson and Maggie super annoying too and wondering about April and Matthew.

KateGrey · 27/04/2018 17:37

I wonder if it’s woman related if either the grandad or dad maybe raped/attacked that woman. That’s why it’s a legal thing she can’t talk about as they settled out of court.

I didn’t know about the dreamer status either. Really shocking. I do miss old Greys though but I suppose it had to evolve.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 27/04/2018 17:40

I honestly wonder why I bother with it this season.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 27/04/2018 17:41

Where do you watch "The Resident"?

Living again?

Gileswithachainsaw · 27/04/2018 17:50

Hmm.. I hope they start making sone better episodes soon it's all getting boring now yet another "dud" episode Hmm

I'm liking the resident though.

And station 19 isn't bad. I'm a little confused though since when did tuck start calling Ben dad Confused

It's nice to see they have a good relationship but it's a bit out of nowhere . I did like how Ben covered up his false alarm though. Grin he meant well after all.

mnahmnah · 27/04/2018 18:14

Resident is on Universal. Only seen the first one. Seen both station 19 episodes so far and prefer that I think, but will try another resident

Thanks

mnahmnah · 02/05/2018 17:04

Week from he’ll so far, so I’m actually looking forward to a bit of Grey’s tonight! Then station 19. Even though I should get to bed Confused

OP posts:
mnahmnah · 02/05/2018 17:04

Hell not he’ll!

OP posts:
ANameforToday · 02/05/2018 17:44

I'm looking forward to it too mnahmnah, it'll be interesting to see just how badly Jackson sorting things out has affected everything.

mnahmnah · 02/05/2018 18:41

I just hope they don’t drag the storyline out keeping us guessing what it is. Need to know this episode!

BagelGoesWalking · 02/05/2018 19:18

Definitely agree with more political issues coming up, the Dreamer One was good, I thought and completely realistic.
I gritted my teeth thought the transgender one, "cis" gets on my tits in a big way, hate it.
Do I remember correctly that last week's finished with Hunt talking about adoption? It's so laughable the way children are viewed in GA. They never seem to need the loo, to need supper, or any kind of looking after. We saw Meredith coping with mountains of dirty laundry once but no one ever seems to go to the supermarket or supervise homework.

ANameforToday · 02/05/2018 21:12

Yep Bagel Owen said he was interested in fostering to adopt, so won't be surprised if he has a child by the end of tonight's episode Hmm

Prancingonthevalentine · 02/05/2018 23:59

The speed the baby arrived at was unbelievable! And he'll be working round the clock again by the next episode.

mnahmnah · 03/05/2018 20:44

Yep. Clearly a very thorough fostering process with in-depth training and house preparation 😂

OP posts:
mnahmnah · 03/05/2018 20:45

And would they actually allow someone to foster in his position? Single, no family on hand, erratic work hours?!

OP posts:
NotPennysBoat · 04/05/2018 10:16

I loved this week's episode! So many LOL moments Smile

SleepingStandingUp · 04/05/2018 11:02

They're thinning out these interns quickly.

High April said something about knowing about Baby Daddy and Least Favourite Sister then said she was seeing someone too. Who?? Koracick???

spiderlight · 04/05/2018 13:17

It's definitely getting a bit ridiculous now: 'I'm thinking about applying to be a foster carer even though I have PTSD and work 9000 hours a week.' 'Hi, here's your baby!' Confused The weed cookies were the most believable part of that episode!

Stormsurfer · 04/05/2018 18:47

I reckon (hope) April is seeing Matthew. I hate Jackson for not trying harder with April and he looks like some weird lecherous person when he's trying to look like he's got the hots for Maggie. Eurrghh!

FoofFighter · 04/05/2018 19:09

I hate that weird eye look thing he does

Stormsurfer · 04/05/2018 19:36

Yeah I never noticed it with April, but now I find him way less attractive.
