Who used to love Cagney and Lacey?

I'm watching re-runs on ITV3 and feeling nostalgic. They're both now in their 60s and Harv is 70 I think.

Me TOO - I was flicking through the channels and saw that it was on. Remembered the one where Lacey was being 'wooed' (is that a word) by the frenchman. Turned it one and it was that episode.

i love it, bbc2 was running double eps on saturdays for a while and i used to find it impossible to leave the house...

Meeeeeee. The theme tune is so nostalgic for me - I can remember being too little to sit up to watch it and then it being a big thing that I finally could.

my eldest is called lacey but not because of this show but friend in hospital bed next to me did say if she had her child same day she would call it cagney alas it never happened

My mum used to love it. I couldn't see the appeal until I was at least 30...then I started liking it, too.

The dark-haired one (can't remember her name) is a stonkingly good actor. She has been fantastic in everything I've seen of hers'.

Tyne Daley is in re-runs of "Judging Amy" on Hallmark every weekday. She is brilliant in this as well.
