Time travel show recommendations

The 'nominate your favourite show' thread got me thinking about how much I like time travel TV shows (and novels). I have really vivid memories of watching Timeslip, The Tomorrow People and Come Back, Lucy, as well as Doctor Who of course, as a child. And Goodnight Sweetheart remains one of my favourites - I keep watching repeats on Drama.

So, what are your favourite time travel shows? Are there any good ones around at the moment? There was one that I caught the last episode of a couple of months ago, with a jazz group who'd travelled to the 1920s, but I managed to miss most of the series.

Outlander (my current obsession)

Lost in Austen

If you have Prime, try Man in the High Castle - it's parallel universe rather than time travel but I think you would enjoy it

Also check out the tv series 11.22.63 - time travel about a teacher who goes back to try to avert the JFK assassination. I think you need to watch it on Hulu.

@tarabumdeay - more likely Goodnight Sweetheart got the idea from Dominick Hide, unless there actually was time travel involved! Flipside was 13 years earlier. There’s also a sequel, Another Flip for Dominick.

@SingingSands - There are a lot more Chronicles of St Mary’s for you to enjoy - the Novel-length book is due out in April, plus there’s a lot of short stories, most of which are now out in a compilation.

Frequency! That's the one I was trying to remember the name of.

Love Outlander, the series and the books.

DVDs? Netflix is only £6 a month! You can probably get a free trial as well.

I have no idea how to access Netflix. Blush There, I've said it. As for 'you need to watch it on Hulu...'

I've quite forgotten Dominick Hide - I do remember them from the dim and distant past. Wikipedia tells me the first play was repeated in 2006, but I don't think I knew about it.

I couldn't get on with Chronicles of St Marys. I was expecting to love them but I didn't.

Definitely try Outlander.

Predestination - a film based on a Robert Heinlein short story "All you zombies".
About every time travel twist and turn you can think of.

You can watch Netflix on a smart tv, or on most smart phones/tablets via the appropriate app.
£5.99 a month if it's just you watching at any time.
