The New Builds Are Coming

Anyone watching this? I'm fascinated by it! Very interesting. I'm team 'Period property' and my BFF has only ever owned new builds and it's a source of friendly banter but this show raises huge issues like schools and quality of the homes itself. I missed the first half hour. Gutted!

Three different companies are trying to do this to our beautiful, ancient village. It is ludicrous.

In a few towns away from where I live, they are building new builds and cramming loads of flats in the space next to it.
The crazy thing is that there is nothing to do in that area! I was looking to rent one but to think the entire town has nothing to do, no parks within walking distance, not even your average shop and then allowing all these new homes to be built. No wonder kids get bored and play up. I heard people still smack their kids in public there. I feel sorry for the kids as they've grown up in a place where there's no green space, just houses (old) and now adding more to it.
They need places to go, things to do, fresh air to breathe. It doesn't matter if it's in London or near London, or the most boring town in England, they're building more and more. There needs to a be a balance especially the towns that are not near any major cities.
