Well didn't think we'd fill the first thread but we've hung in there with mascots and hopes of some 'ass on ice' action...so on with the donkeys on ice show!

Get in there with a sob story before you start.

hanging it doesn't make much difference. He was involved in the behind the scenes coaching and chores of the show anyway so it's just a bit more money and more limelight. He gets on well enough with Donna so no biggie.

sassy there are more overseas skaters on the show this season as I don't know some of them at all. Others I only know vaguely.

I knew more of the ones who used to do the show tbh. I think I'm getting old!

I'm a bit behind. Had to pause to go and dish up my lasagne.

Alex is good. His basic skating is better than most of the others and he is more stable. I feel like he 'gets' skating. I think I like him.

I haven't voted before but I might just vote for him.

I'd like a Brooke/Antony skate off. Don't mind who goes though.

I've worked with Jane and Chris and Karen though (also Robin but he's not there now clearly)

2 for max, 2 for Alex and 1 for jake here. I do like jake but I think the other two actually did better skating today.

Lamar won't go home vs Anthony.

Not unless he decked it in the skate off. His steps and footwork are MUCH more technically difficult that Anthony's.

soupforbrains, do you know why Karen isn't involved anymore, I quite liked her.

Well that was a rather sassy Sunday routine

I think with Karen it was just a production decision.

They always knew that Robin wouldn't be able to do this because of the olympics. So then I think they had the idea to move Jane and Chris into judging roles, they were never going to lose Jason.

Tbh Karen is really annoying, she rubs a lot of people up the wrong way and actually isn't a very good coach at all. So I just think it was an easy drop for the production team.
