Well didn't think we'd fill the first thread but we've hung in there with mascots and hopes of some 'ass on ice' action...so on with the donkeys on ice show!

I'm finding it very hard to get excited about any of them.

Ooh is it Bubbly? We had a few flurries earlier and a fair bit of hail but quiet at mo I think!

I just want to say, didn't think Phil and Hol could get any more irritating, they are so bloody corny. FFS couldn't they have found two other presenters for DOI.

It is, Bubbly In other news, the fields next to our village have some really tiny and cute new born lambs in them. That IS more interesting.

Hi everyone. I've not been on these threads before as I've only been half-heartedly following DOI this year.

I was excited about the come back but I find that they're really missing Robin (bits obvs he is in Korea watching the proper skating) as a judge and while Jane (ugh) and Chris are doing a good job as judges I think the choreography and coaching is obviously missing them.

I also haven't really fallen in 'love' with any of the celebs.

I'm hoping you ladies will be able to get me a bit more excited (but frankly the skating bores me at the moment)

Hey soup. I think the consensus here is that we all think it's a bit "meh" but we enjoy the company and witty chatter and opportunity to poke fun at the crappy costumes.

That was quite a nice Ina Bauer from him tbh. I'm hoping that the stiffness was intentional because of the soldier thing though...

Not sure what to make of that...felt a bit odd...and not sure I liked the whole uniform wearing....bit weird as a tribute....
