It's fascinating. Easier to follow than I expected and not at all what I thought. I expected it to be a bit sci-fi/fantasy/Lord of the Rings but it's not like that at all. So much going on, love it!!

I only started watching it around this time last year and managed to finished all of the previous seasons in time for last years new season. DP watched them with me but it was their 3rd time watching them and they were extremely jealous of me experiencing it for the first time.

No spoilers, but DPs friend filmed a few scenes as an extra in Winterfell (Ireland) this week and said it was incredible!

You lucky thing. I started it last year, and watched all 6 seasons in one week...I was knackered afterwards lol.

I’d suggest recording it so you can fast forward through the gory bits that were OTT in one series. Can’t remember which one though.

So at the moment I'm watching it on Sky Atlantic. They seem to put 3 episodes on every Friday, so I've done 1, 2 & 3 from last Friday and the there's 4, 5 & 6 this Friday.

I honestly can't tell you how much I love it and it's almost killing me to wait until Friday for more!

But already I have the fear, I am currently completely dependant on Sky, what if they don't put any more seasons on? How would I watch the rest? Other than paying £73 for a box set

I couldn't bear not to not see the rest of it! I don't currently have Netflix/now tv but might be willing to invest if it's the only way.
