Cardiac arrest is the best medical drama ever. But difficult to get hold of.

Also, I haven't seen it, but The Knick sounds interesting –a New York hospital in the early 20th century.

I really loved St Elsewhere back in the day...

I liked "The Knick": really interesting to find out about that period of history, both medical and life in the USA.

For something a bit more up to date, "Nurse Jackie" with Edie Falco was a bit dark at times but fabulous.
