Loved the first series of this. It's so lovely to see the difference the children have made. Proper warm and fuzzy viewing!

Totally. It’s making me quite tearful

HeyMacWey · 18/12/2017 21:36

It is lovely isn't it.
I think as families have become so geographically dispersed we've lost a lot of this intergenerational contact.
Isn't there a care home that now has a nursery on site?

What a lovely programme. It’s making me a little tearful but I’m a nice way.

Oh thanks for the heads up, DP and I adored the first series, the experiments really did seem to be of huge benefit to both age groups. I shall watch it on catch up tomorrow I think.

Loved how the kids ran into the room and threw themselves at the pensioners.

Gorgeous children, but so sad to see the extent of loneliness

Such a bitter sweet programme.

So lovely to see the little ones having such a great time with the older people. But their loneliness is just shocking. sad].

Loneliness is a terrible thing.

It's made me think what I might be able to do locally, I'd love to be involved with something similar.
