For me I object to IW's inclusion in the supposed celebration of women's suffrage. In my opinion she has no understanding of the debt women owe those who fought and suffered for our cause and shows no empathy with the inequality women still have to endure today. She seems to have little in common with the biological women on the show and is fixated on her own idealised, (fetishised, even), image of herself as a woman. I feel this has no place in what was bigged up in the lead up as a women's space.
I see Vogue have included a trans woman in their official photo celebrating the same anniversary making me think that its just an excuse to show how accepting the TV/ magazine are but very little thought has been put into why the anniversary is important to women.

I agree Ask; IW wants everything their way and the self-indulgence is just baffling.
