My friend texted back to tell me that I am indeed engaged. I am too embarassed to push him further on this statement even though I know he spoke to Lee on Sunday. This girlish silliness is perhaps the most embarrassing thing I have ever posted on Mumsnet and if I wasn't so in lust, I would be very ashamed!

Don't be embarrassed - my friends still tease me about standing for an hour in a queue to get a book signed by (whisper) Gordon Ramsay! With DS, who was three at the time...But DS was very patient and Mr Ramsay very friendly so it was worth it...
