I'm at the hospital with dd2, seemed appropriate to start a new thread.

So far , I've experienced horrendous parking, and the coffee machine is broken.

It's not going well. Grin

St Phil's must have about as many patients as the mill if they can see the woman, do all he tests and get the results within a coupe of hours !
Why would she ask a complete stranger to go to hospital with her or 6tl?

whatabreakthrough · 08/11/2017 18:42

Can't believe PC Plodd shouting at Mrs Gobby.
Traumatic stress or no traumatic stress, I would have said ''If you don't like them, make your own goddamn sandwiches in future. You lazy Git''

Anyway, why is she making his sandwiches when she works as well?
what is this, the 1950s?

whatabreakthrough · 08/11/2017 18:44

And what's with the 'date' swooning over Fat Al?
As if that would happen in real life. Hmm
no offense Al

AnneEyhtMeyer · 08/11/2017 18:53

Al is funny and clever - I can easily see someone fancying him.

Raahh · 08/11/2017 19:12

I love Al.

His dating strategy is probably a bit misguided, but I think he'd be great for the right person.
I loved him and Niamh together Sad.

I want the vicar from his parents' parish to relocate to St Bernadette's and get together with him. They were very well suited.

Raahh · 08/11/2017 19:17

Yes, Anne she was great. It's a shame we will never see her again Grin

OP posts:
whatabreakthrough · 08/11/2017 19:21

I can't easy see anyone fancying him.
Liking him for his wit, maybe
But fancy is a bit strong. Ew.

But hey ho each to their own.

whatabreakthrough · 08/11/2017 19:23

Now Rob, I would. Hmm
But not if he moans about my saarnies.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 08/11/2017 19:38

I would happily be with Al if I met him in real life and I wasn't married.

I know Raahh . Such a terrible waste.

The writers like vicars - Mrs T's vicar was a perfect match for her too.

blamethecat · 08/11/2017 20:16

Has gobby got a new car ? I'm sure it was green before Hmm
Also when did she have time to get home to make his ham sandwiches? let alone why on earth she bothered

toldmywrath · 08/11/2017 20:38

I'd have told Rob to poke his sandwiches where the sun doesn't shine. Not that I'd have made him any in the first place. Confused

toldmywrath · 08/11/2017 20:41

Al is wonderful and I'd be happy to have him as a partner, if I wasn't married already.

Not sure what pp is getting at, unless it's his size that makes her think he's not worthy of being attractive. Hmm

AnneEyhtMeyer · 08/11/2017 21:10

told - I would choose Al over Daniel, Jimmi, GobbyPlod, Sid and even Barry.

redshoeblueshoe · 08/11/2017 21:42

Me too Anne, but this is the Al Haskey Fan Club

toldmywrath · 08/11/2017 22:10

Anne even Barry?! With his outsize security badge? Grin

AnneEyhtMeyer · 08/11/2017 22:23

Even Barry, told. Al is in a class of his own. I love him.

Raahh · 09/11/2017 13:48

TMI , really.

I bet the husband is having an affair.

And I hate that Daniel is blaming Zara- in the same circumstances, I bet he would have relished playing the gung-ho hero.

Raahh · 09/11/2017 13:55

I hate this copper.

JImmi- you were right. Bet that was painful, Al Grin.

Oh, yes, Jimmi, one of those 100 patients they have banging the doors downGrin.

Oh no- it's dominatrix date.

OP posts:
Raahh · 09/11/2017 13:58

Oh, nice welcome. Grin

And no- you wouldn't look the room up and down like that when you walked in.

And you wouldn't go to the gp about your nose.

Raahh · 09/11/2017 13:59

Al and Gwen both think alike. They really should be perfect for each other.

I feel a bit sorry for this bloke.

OP posts:
Raahh · 09/11/2017 14:01

So, I've got him wrong, and I don't think he's having an affair.

OP posts:
Raahh · 09/11/2017 14:01

They wouldn't know at 8 weeks about Downs.

OP posts:
Raahh · 09/11/2017 14:04

She would be breaking confidentiality to tell him. But I can understand why she would want to.

And she has every right to refuse referrals because she is right.
