If so, who do you think won? I know the answer because I was in the audience. My favourite song is coming on now. I had shivers going up and down my back! Moon River. Excellent.

I am a bit addicted to choral singing. I was singing in three choirs this term

some info about the competition

No, I wasn't in the shot, though we were made to clap as if we'd be on it every time the choir or presenter came on!

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I think it comes around every 2 yrs. Last time we went to every single one. The kids are a bit older now and need to be persuaded to attend even a couple!

I can't sing a note. Literally. I really admire those who can.

have printed off the pdf of all music on s4c . I usually get to see a bit of the eisteddfod every year because we holiday near Aberaeron every year in that week.

SimplySparkling · 07/04/2007 21:55

Ah, now that is somewhere close to where I live. The Eisteddfod is close to Carmathen this year (ish, I haven't been paying attention) and we've booked a cottage for the week so that we'd be close for ds' competitions. As it turns out, they are on Thursday and on Friday night so perhaps a couple of nights in a b and b would have done just as well. So, do you watch S4C when you are there? Remember to use 888 and you'll get a lot of the chat translated for you. I don't know what pdf is, but if it makes you happy ... ...

I tried downloading the pdf thing. It made the PC groan then freeze so I had to shut down. I'm glad that it is working again and I haven't done anything too awful to it as dh is away.

thanks SS

You're welcome. Dd and I have been lucky and we've got tickets for the final on Sun 29th April. I'm sure that will be televised, too.

Still on. I'm back home and am in my pjs already. We slipped out when the judges left to consider their choice. I'm glad we went, it was good. I want the Youth Choir to come first, failing that the Kids and my 3rd choice would be the Male Voice Choir. The last lot were very good but I didn't get tingles up and down my spine once, nor feel the "hwyl."
